I called DiBacco Bros. and they came right away - at the height of the heat wave - estimated $5000 to replace the A/C - and did it the following day, returned next day to check and correct minor problem. I've had no trouble with it since. It was very expensive but, under the circumstances, well worth it.

Our hot water tank let go while we were going through a family emergency so I did not have time to shop for the best price. DiBacco was very prompt at returning my call and offered to have someone out to look at the job the same day. This was the 2nd time I had a water heater leak and I knew I wanted a tankless system for both the longer life and the energy savings. Gordon came out, gave me an estimate, and said he could start in the afternoon but the job could not be finished until the next day. The estimate was higher than some other companies advertise for similar work but we needed the work done immediately. Before lunch the next day the work was done, my old water heater was gone and the job site was clean. No surprises and the water heater works great!

They did what they were suppose to do. but had damage a basement vent in the process of replacing the system, we discover it a few months after installation. since we had no reason to tinker with the vent during the warmer months ( when the work was done) once it was cold, we when down to open the vent to heat the basement.. the vent was broken.. it was the first time anyone had touch the vent since the company replaced the system and there were new screws places in the vent. we had not touched it !!!!.. it worked fine before the installation of new system. in the meantime until they could come out and fix it ... we duct taped open the vent to get heat in the basement. We told them the situation. and they wanted to charge us $139. 00 to fix it .. for something they broke... told us it was an old part and why were we now calling them to fix this.?? It was our fault and it was an old part they would not guarantee. It was a fight with the contractor and really was upsetting that after spending thousandsand thousands of dollars with this company, .. the principle that they wanted to charge us extra $$ to install a new vent that they had handled and did not tell us was not functioning only after they install a new heating system is wrong. After the contractor told me is was our problem.. I called the owner.. he when back and forth with his contractor and me. and eventually begrugling sent the contractor back to our home to install a new vent. It took him literallly less then 5 minutes to install and such a simple thing to do to make a customer happy, who had just spend over $12 K for a new system. We were not trying to get something for free.. but it was not our fault that the damage vent occured during their work. If they would of completely inspected the system before leaving the job or have Ralph come our himself and be apart of the job and/ or sign off and inspect the job.. maybe this problem would have not have come up .months later, making it look like we broke the vent and now we want something for free.. I was pretty offended. But I will say that the owner eventually wanted to make us happy and had the contractor return and replaced the vent in less 5 minutes and did not charge us after the dispute. I wish the company good luck, I think in general they are good plummers and did a good job. with the exception of this little issue.

The fee was exuberant. Everything they did was expensive and inappropriate. It was like dealing with two different companies. The owner was wonderful, but when the son came, it was a different story. He was very rude, and inappropriately blas , when I complained about the price.

They responded very quickly and they did a very good job. They were prompt and efficient because they came on short notice because the old heater was leaking, so they came the very next day. They did an excellent job, but they were not cheap. Next time, I will get other estimates.

WE USED RALPH YEARS AGO, AND REMEMBERED HIM AS A GOOD PLUMBER, AND REASONABLY PRICED. SO INSTEAD OF SHOPPING AROUND WE DECIDED TO GO WITH A KNOWN ENTITY WHEN OUR LEAKY BATHROOM FAUCET NEEDED TO BE FIXED. I GOT AN APPOINTMENT RIGHT AWAY WITH ONE OF THEIR PLUMBERS. UNFORTUNATELY RALPH NOW RUNS A BIG SHOP, AND THE PLUMBER WHO CAME WAS PROGRAMMED TO DO THE SALES PITCH, OFFERING A BETTER PRICE ON THE FAUCET JOB IF WE BOUGHT THE PLUMBING INSPECTION PACKAGE, WHICH WE DECLINED. WHEN HE TOLD ME THE FAUCET REPLACEMENT WOULD BE NEARLY $700, I SHOULD HAVE SENT HIM AWAY, AND CHALKED UP THE $65 HOUSE-CALL-FOR-NOTHING FEE TO EXPERIENCE, AND FOUND A PLUMBER THAT WOULD GIVE ME A FREE ESTIMATE, LIKE MY ELECTRICIAN, ROOFER, PAINTER, ETC. DO. UNFORTUNATELY WE PAID IT, GOT A FIXTURE THAT IS NICE, BUT WAY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NEEDED (THAT WAS ALL HE HAD, AND I WANTED USE OF MY BATH AGAIN), AND FELT RIPPED OFF IN THE END. I COMPLAINED TO RALPH WHO OFFERED NOTHING BUT PLEASANTLY DELIVERED EXCUSES.
