We recently did a local move (about 20 miles) with 3E, and they were great! They arrived right on time, and worked quickly and efficiently to load everything up, and then unload at our new home. Those guys worked quickly, and without any breaks! All of our belongings were handled carefully, the movers were very friendly, and the cost came in below the estimate. How could it be any better?

We read the reviews on Angies list and based on the reviews, price and the fact that they are a family owned local business, we hired 3E. All I will say is pay for the insurance if you hire this company. We didn't and we deeply regret it. We have multiple pieces of furniture with scratches, dings etc and one wine rack that is completely trashed. One example out of many, we have a beautiful Thomasville dining table, buffet etc. It literally didn't have a mark on it when they packed it up. I have found 4 of the dining room chairs that are dinged up or scratched. The table was put in the basement (cement floor) of our new home and one of the workers put one of the inserts directly down on the cement and the edge is all marked up. They wrapped the furniture up when it left our house and it was wrapped up when it arrived so all I can think is that is was unwrapped when it went into storage and that is how damage was done. There were several boxes that were put down upside down etc. We have a lot of broken dishware also, probably due to the trucks being overstuffed. The other big red flag was price. Their quote was cheaper then the other 3 companies we had come out but the other quotes stated, the price would not exceed a certain amount, 3e did not. When I called and talked to Zac he told me he would not go more then 5% over that quoted price. I should have got that in writing, I didn't, my bad. They went over that price by a good amount. On the good side, they were on time, they were good people and they did not do any damage to our new home (thank goodness). It was a big move and it was very hot on both ends pick up and drop off. They all worked very hard. When I sent email and some example pictures in regards to the damage they did send me 300 dollars back but told me there was nothing more they could do as we didn't buy insurance. So, again, the moral of the story is, buy the insurance.

Very well - 3E had been recommended to me by colleagues who also had a great experience with them. Mike and his team were professional, polite, and took great care of our things as they were being moved. The final cost was in line with the initial estimate so there were no surprises. I would absolutely use them again if we need to move in the future and have already recommended them to friends!

They were great, professional, courteous and very accommodating! I would certainly use their services again.

Generally done with courtesy and speed, but details missed and minor damage dismissed. Toilet used by mover clogged and unreported, several door hinges not replaced, minor damage to wall shrugged off (patched and painted by me the next day). However, bulk of work was efficient and in good order.

Very well! We were less than prepared because we just had so much stuff but they never complained and even helped us move stuff around and tape stuff up. They even came in under their estimated price ?

3E was awesome! These guys were professional, hard-working, courteous, etc. I was very impressed with their service from start to finish. They stayed within their quote and delivered the best moving experience I've had (and I've moved quite a bit). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move. 

3E International was the only company that had any time that would work with the "must by out date" and that with the estimate, I could afford. Doesn't sound promising, but just wait.
The head of the company, Mike Ellis, cam over on a Sunday to give me an estimate, which was scheduled by his daughter as well as the date and time the move crew would be there, about 12:15pm. On the date of the move, she called back to ask if it was okay if the crew was there early, around noon which was fine with my aunt and I.
They were amazing. I walked them around, letting them know what was and wasn't going to my storage unit, answering any questions they had and they got to work. They started with a treadmill I knew would be a problem and took apart, and in 10-15 minutes it was no longer a problem and all on the truck, all pieces wrapped and boxed. My aunt and I were still working through big parts of the house, sort of all spread out, which the guys helped out with as well. 
The entire house was moved into the truck and over to storage close by in under 2hrs, and almost $400 under the original estimate. All reviews I had read all around the web had nothing but good things to say about them. Moving? Call these guys.

Awesome.  These guys showed up early, worked hard and were very professional.  They were polite and wanted to please their customers.  We are very pleased.  Everything was handled with care, nothing was damaged, and the boxes for storage in the basement were neatly and appropriately stacked for access. These guys make it look easy even though it was a hot day and they even had another job to go to after mine.  Roughly 5 hours to move all that.

After my having to reschedule the move as the under-construction apartment wasn't ready (the company was VERY gracious and accommodating about this), two very efficient, polite and hardworking young men arrived on time at the 2nd location with their truck already loaded with the stuff from the room at the1st location. 
The MANY items, from the 2nd location were loaded really efficiently. These guys were good!
They were joined by 2 other guys from their company for the unload. They placed the furniture exactly where it should go.
I'd give them better than an A+ if I could.

There were some very large pieces that needed to be moved up three flights of stairs. The movers were very effiecent, poliet, professional and personable. The owner even came on site for the move. I would highly recommend them.

They are a local and family owned business. They came a week befor to give me an estimate, which was very reasonable. The move itself went extremely well. The crew of 3 movers arrived on time on a Saturday morning at 8am, and they were very fast and quiet. They were very gentle with my furniture and boxes, and very well organized. The challenge moving out was that I was on the third floor with no elevator. Moving in, there was an elevator but residents were using it so it was a bit tricky for tehm to move my stuff up. I have a two bedroom appprtment anda lot of books, but It only took them a total of 4 hours to move me out and in my new place! They were all very pleasant and professional. They even helped me move furniture around before leaving and the best part is... I paid $45 less than the estimate they gave me! I recommend them with no reservation. Thank you 3E movers, you are awesome !!

Mike and his team are awesome. From the estimate (which came in lower than the actual cost) to the execution these guys were professional.
I moved from Billerica to Tyngsboro but had a gap of 3 days between the time my stuff had to be out and when it needed to be delivered. Mike and his team cleared the stuff out very quickly and stored them for me. Then unloaded everything on delivery day flawlessly.
I'd recommend them to anyone hiring a team of movers!

Ours was an unusual job, which brought the team back 2 times to move 'smaller' batches rather than one big move. Each time the team members were all helpful, and kind to our somewhat disorganized approach .. working with us to make sure that all items got to the right destination.. and that any help we needed was provided. There are cheaper services.. but none which are as good a value .. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Steve P

These folks are awesome!!   From the owner Mike and his helpful packing advise, to his very professional daughter running the office, to his 2 expert sons and their crews that did the loading and unloading.  We packed all the boxes, many of them we purchased from them at a discount.  The crew arrived on time, quickly packed everything up and were on their way in four hours.  We were there the whole time and they were careful but fast.  The company stored our goods in their truck for two nights.  We had accidentily packed our coin collection in the truck, but we were never concerned.  They arrived to unpack on time and again were fast but careful.    They protected the furniture, the boxes and the house.  They came in under budget and when all was said and done, everything was where we wanted it and we couldn't be happier.  They even came back a few weeks later and retrieved the empty boxes.  These people and their company made the miserable task of moving MUCH less stressful.  Thank you!!

We called 3E moving on Tuesday, hoping that they had an opening on that Saturday, and they did.  They were very friendly on the phone, and explained all of the charges up front, and gave a 3 hour time estimate based on the inventory we gave them.  
They were scheduled to arrive at 8am, and arrived right on time, and all 3 movers were friendly, and professional.  With a quick tour of what was going, they got right to work.  We were originally planning on just having them move the bulky furniture items like couches and beds, but they ended up taking almost everything, and still staying within the original time estimate!  It should also be noted that they carried the couch through about 2 feet of snow so that they could fit it into the living room!
The only surprise was a $25 fuel surcharge which we weren't informed about.  However, for essentially having all of our belongings in 3 hours with only needing one car full of items ourselves, we definitely got a great value.  We would definitely hire again and recommend.

When we got our estimate, Mike (the owner) told us that his son would be the crew chief on move-out day. However, he was not present at any point in the move. Nevertheless, move out was amazing - they were prompt and efficient, despite pouring rain. Move in seemed a little less thorough - the team was smaller and they were not always attentive to labels on boxes as to where things were to go. Absolutely no damage whatsoever. They also saved us money and wear and tear by storing belongings on the truck rather than moving them off and back on. I had some questions about scheduling that I sent via email (in response to the emailed quote I received). I did not get a response to my email, and had to follow up by telephone. This was not a major inconvenience, but a little frustrating.

All of our belongings arrived in perfect condition and were put into the correct rooms for us.
Mike, the owner, also came out to provide an estimate a week before and was very friendly and professional.
All communications via email were fast and helpful.
We would definitely recommend this company, and would use them again for our next move!

Went great. Very reasonable price. Showed up with three people who worked really fast and were very careful. I was definitely impressed with their professionalism and work ethic.  I had purchased boxes from them prior to their arrival and had everything that they would be moving boxed and ready to go.
