Tom had left me with a very good impression after our meeting for the quote with his professionalism and knowledge. On the day of the work, the crew showed up earlier in the morning and went to work right away. They'd hung up covers from roof line down to ground to protect the house. They'd performed all the work per the contract and did a great job of cleaning up afterward. I would definitely recommend Twin Metals to friends and family.

We are very happy with the roofs that Tom and Twin Metals installed for us--on the house and on the garage. When we asked for an estimate, we got a detailed and very fair estimate within a short time. Once we signed the contract, our project was scheduled promptly, and there was no interruption in the work until it was complete. Tom came back to inspect, and explained everything in full detail. He also brought people back to address a few minor imperfections that he noticed. We've now been through a wet winter with our new roof, and we couldn't be happier.

It went beautifully from the outset to completion. Tom gave us a very detailed contract (explaining all work to be done and all materials to be used), and a very reasonable price. His great crew completed the bulk of the work in two days, and did the finishing immediately afterward. Tom walked us through the completed work, explaining every detail. The test of a roof is the winter, of course, but we've had a couple of fierce wind and rain storms since the work was done, and all is well. We'll check back in come spring, but we have every reason to think we're going to remain as happy with TwinMetals as we are right now.

A large crew showed up on time ready to move forward immediately. They got the work done in one day. The owner was professional, courteous and provided excellent customer service, which is rare in this day and age. No delays, no upcharges. I wish I had another roof so I could hire him again.

Tom Gordon (owner) was always easy to reach by phone. He made an on-site consultation that was informative and helpful, as he listened to my ideas and drew on his expertise to explain how they could be addressed. Of the four estimates we got, Twin Metals was in the middle & seemed reasonable. Some roofers requested no deposit, others 30%; Twin Metals asks an "earnest" deposit of $500 at signing of the contract. The crew arrived promptly and worked quickly with evident skill. They were a pleasant group. A sudden torrential rainstorm in the middle of the job didn't faze them at all; they covered the exposed roof with tarps and continued work afterwards. We had no leaks from it. Because of the storm, our one-day job had to be finished the next morning (some work required dry surfaces), but all was accomplished promptly without any fuss. With one exception, the basic job and our special requests were done to our complete satisfaction with no need for follow-up. One request, regarding dumpster placement, got lost somewhere in the communication between me, Tom, the subcontractor and the driver (I had to run outside and intercept the driver at the last minute), but the rest of the communication with Twin Metals around this job was excellent so I assume the dumpster company erred. Cleanup was A+; while the demolition part looked like a complete disaster, once the crew left I had to search pretty hard to find a single nail or bit of debris. We are happy with our new roof(s).

We were experiencing water in our hallways when it rained. Once twin metals started we realized all the wood framing behind the brick was rotted. Fortunately Twin Metals had the talent and experience to repair everything that needed to be done. It was a huge undertaking . The team from Twin Metals was responsive, professional and neat. They did and excellent job. I would highly recommend them

I called 3 or 4 companies and interviewed personally 2 of them.
Tom Gordon, one of the owners of Twin Metals, did the estimate for me back in April 2015. He was very informative and helpful.  I had originally wanted metal roofs, so it was very helpful to deal with a company that could provide either.
 Tom provided estimates for both types of roofs, but metal roofs were too expensive for this project (rental houses). I asked Tom for "worst case scenario" pricing on the project (what if we had to replace the decking?) because I wanted to finance the project and I wanted to be sure I requested a large enough loan.  (Twin Metals has a financing option that was quick, easy and and carried a rate of 7.99% for 10 years at the time. ) 
We had some weather delays but otherwise the project was on schedule.  Tom's crew arrived early one morning and had finished both houses by noon the following day. They cleaned up the site at the end of each day, paying special attention to the neighbor's driveway which is very close to one of the houses. All of the crew were very friendly, polite and considerate, so it was a very pleasant experience.  Tom stopped by several times to check on the work and the schedule.
I purchased GAF shingles guaranteed for 50 years. Twin Metals guarantees their workmanship for 15 years.  We, like so many others, had ice dam problems last year, so I wanted Tom to pay particular attention to preventing a reoccurrence of that problem or at least to preventing leaks caused by ice dams.  I believe that the plan he presented will do that.  Of course, only time will tell, but I feel comfortable with Tom and Twin Metals.
As Tom had reassured me several times, the project  did not require the replacement of decking. So his worst case estimate of $23500 reverted to his best estimate of $16000 all inclusive.
I was pleased with Twin Metals from start to finish. Tom was very responsive to my calls and my emails, and my many questions. He was on top of everything and what I expected would be a stressful project, from finding the right company to getting a reasonable estimate and financing, to the actual installation was very smooth and pleasant.  I can't thank Tom enough for his help and his professionalism. I would gladly recommend Twin Metals ( and have twice already) and would use them again.

The Church sustained substantial water damage in the winter of 2015 due to numerous ice dams. 11 rooms were damaged and the roof was at the end of it's life span. Water was pouring into the church and we were in a crisis. We interviewed 5 roofers and were not happy with any of them. I looked on Angie's List and found Twin Metals. Bob immediately assured us Twin Metals was the right company for the job. He was right! This was a major job, as the roof is 15,800 sq ft. They were very responsive, and were on top of everything!  This is a well run company and every employee was professional and competent. The roof looks amazing! I can't say enough good things about Twin Metals! We now have a roof that will last for generations! I would highly recommend them!

Leaking roof from ice dams. I called Twin Metals and they came out the next morning. They identified the leak came from the valley of the roof, put the ladder down on the ice and snow on the ground, climbed to the roof of our 3 story house, and cleared the snow and ice dams within 1-2 hours for $150. From talking with others, I was expecting to pay $500-$700 and was very happy the bill was much less and the leak has stopped. Thank you, Twin Metals!

Very professional job and responsive service from the initial call to follow up on a small downspout issue after the work was done. Tom Gordon was a pleasure to deal with. His crew was on time and very quick. Neighbors who were around the day of the work commented on the efficiency of the crew. Clean up was thorough.

It went very well. They were very fast, doing the work in two days, and they were very neat, leaving hardly any nails around. They did everything on budget and on time, and the crew was friendly and professional.

The owner, Tom, was terrific to work with. I bid job to 3 companies and he was similar to one in price (the other was much higher), but Tom was much more diligent in reviewing my roof situation and finding the best solution for my venting needs. I had gable end in-takes and 2 stationary roof vents, along with a powered roof vent (that had died). All my research told me that gable intakes are poor, but my house had no soffits, so it was best I had. Tom suggested edge vents running parallel to the gutters about 6" up roof line, along with a ridge vent. He even brought out a rep from the vent supplier to confirm it was the right course. I thought that was good service.
Job was scheduled and team showed up early on planned day. Big crew so they worked quickly. A fair amount of debris came into attic, but Tom had advised placing tarps on attic floor to make cleanup easy. Some siding shingles had to be replaced due to new flashing being needed. All in all, guys were very thorough. You'll still see some isolated shingle pieces on ground, but their cleanup was very good, using a magnetic wheelbarrow to pick up nails.

Better than we expected! Was able to schedule quickly and get the job done quickly even with a few additional things needing to be done. Tom did a walk through after the job was completed to answer any other questions we had. Would certainly recommend Twin Metals for any roofing job!

Everything went as planned. They arrived on schedule and the crew, Bob & Mike, were very professional and exacting in their installation. Bob made sure that the placement of the skylight was, not only to my liking, but exactly in the perfect position in the room it covered. He was a perfectionist! I am so pleased with the finished product. Tom Gordan, the owner,  is a true hands on project manager and company owner. At the completion of the project, they cleaned up completely. You would never know, looking at my lawn,  that any roof work was done. I will definitely keep there company name handy. I will recommend "Twin Metals" to anyone needing a roofing project.

Tom Gordon from Twin Metals really cares about the satisfaction of his customers. He is straightforward and honest, and that's why I chose him for my new roof. He worked within my schedule and I believe the time from quote to finish was about a week and a half. I got quotes from four or five other roofers, but Tom offered competitive pricing and was really down to earth. I liked that.
On the day the roof was done, Tom's team worked very fast. There were half a dozen guys up on the roof by 7 am, and they were gone by about 2 pm. I have two neighbors who were in the roofing business for 30 years, and they were both impressed! It wasn't possible to remove all the debris due to snowfall, but when the snow melted I called Tom and he came out to pick it up. He also offered to compensate me for a few precious plants that had been accidentally crushed by falling shingles or unknowing feet. I just want to mention that it's almost impossible to find all the small pieces of shingles and other trash that falls, so if you ever get your roof done just be prepared to find small bits and pieces every time you go out in your garden.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with their work, and would hire them again if I had a second roof. Judging from the quality of their workmanship, I will probably never have any problems, but I am confident that they will put my satisfaction first if I ever do!

The big deals are so minimal, if there is any type of problem, the deal size gets bigger....

Tom returned my call immediately to set up an appointment.  He came to the house and provided a quote just a few days later.  He clearly articulated the condition of the roof and what work was necessary to correct the problems.
We had developed a leak so a date was quickly set to perform the work, The crew showed up on time.  Worked quickly and neatly.  There was not  a bit of trash in the yard afterwards.  They were also very polite and engaging with my elderly parents.
I received a follow up call after the service to thank me for my business and see if I was satisfied.
This company has excellent customer relations habits.  I highly recommend their services.

The company representative called me the same day I bought the coupon, but due to my schedule it took me a long time to set up the appointment. It took me almost a month to be able to finally set it up, I did appreciate their patience.

The worker showed up on time, very polite and he inspected the roof of my house very carefully, I mentioned to him that I was the 3rd. owner of the house and I wasn't sure of the condition of the house since the shingles had been changed at different times since the house was built in 1973. Fortunately after he inspected the whole roof he said it is still in good condition and nothing needed to be done this time, also this person didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.

Ryan provided an overall examination of the roof (inside and out), made a small repair (one shingle provided by us), and gave a detailed estimate of a full replacement. Professional, honest, friendly and quote given was reasonable. We plan to hire them for any future roof work, small and large. 

The owner,Tom Gordon is a professional....! He was our guide all the way thru the job. Everything done according to contract.

Very satisfactory evaluation. Ryan arrived at the scheduled time and seemed to do a thorough examination of the whole roof--- shingles, leading, etc. He also checked the attic crawl space to see if any water had seeped through. Afterwards he took the time to explain my options and the possible time frame for replacing the shingles. I liked the way he presented facts without pressuring me to have the work done immediately. (I may have it done this year anyhow.) Good job.

The job went extremely smoothly. It rained the two days that we originally planned for and had to push it out two days. Tom (contractor) was extremely good at communicating ahead of time so there were no surprises. The crew worked hard to get the job done in a day to make up for the rain delay. Tom was extremely flexible with all aspects of the job. Everything from where the dumpster would go to adding a few extras at no additional cost. Tom also came out a couple of times during the job to make sure it was going well and came back the next day after it was done to do a walk around inspection to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Including checking the grounds to make sure everything was cleaned up properly.
I can't say enough good things about this company and how well they did and how great the new roof looks. If you need a new roof these are the guys to call.
