Triple M did a fantastic job replacing the copper valleys on my roof-their professionalism and craftsmanship were evident from start to finish. Their quote and initial inspection of my roof was reasonably detailed-I spoke with several slate and metalworkers and found Triple M to be the most transparent about the proposed work and their pricing. They were happy to answer my questions. Work started approximately one month ahead of schedule, and proceeded as expected. I am very pleased with their work, and plan on continuing to use them for the ongoing restoration and maintenance of my slate roofing system.

One of the principles of this company is very ill currently and the business is suffering from it. I have used this company multiple times to repair my slate roof, replace 6 dormers of flashing, chimney flashing, gambrel flashing, flat seam copper roof on the front porch and fabricate copper gutters for my entire house approximately 8 years ago. The quality of their work is excellent although they are expensive. I called them in the spring to get quotes on a cement garage and sunporch flat rubber roofs in bad shape and adding new copper gutters to the sunporch. They came out and got back to me with a partial quote on the worst roof which I then hired them to do - they scheduled it for June (6 weeks after signing the contract) They never showed and I emailed. The owner emailed me and claimed that due to weather and delays they could not do it until August! Weather? we are in a drought? I sent him an email expressing the very poor condition of this roof, that it needs to be replaced now, and that I am without air conditioning until the replaces it. My air conditioning compressors were also on this roof and had to be removed for the roof to be done - so no air conditioning for the summer! I got no response and due to an illness in my immediate family I had no time to pursue it further and was resigned to wait. August came and they did not - I contacted him again. The roof was now officially leaking and staining the ceiling inside - luckily due to the drought it was minor. One of the their worker's contacted me and informed us that the owner was in the hospital and very ill (?terminal) He apologized for the delay and got the crew out to do our roof the following week. They did an excellent job except they claimed that copper downspouts were not part of the job. The proposal did not have enough detail and since this worker was not the person I spoke to about the job there was nothing I could do. I made it very clear that I felt the chaos within their company had cheated me out of copper downspouts. I am certain I discussed the downspouts with the owner at the time of estimating and I would never have agreed to aluminum downspouts on copper gutters. In spite of their excellent work I am unsure I will be able to hire this company again. If the illness story is true it explains some of it but leaving me for the hottest August in 10 years without air conditioning, taking 4 months to do the job and then cheating me out of part of the job is a bit much. They sent me a proposal for the garage roof - $12,000 and for the cost of copper downspouts on the rubber roof - $1200

Craftsmanship of these guys just amazing. The roof held up to the last two winters without any damage. I only recommend this company for copper+slate work.

It all went smoothly. I called them to do the work, and they said they'd come by later that week, but didn't come until the following week. But when they came they did the tile work immediately. I asked them about the leaking gutter corners, and the guy took the ladder around the house to look at them. He sealed them, said they'd last a couple years until they would need to be properly cleaned and resealed. Overall, easy, good, and reasonable. And they are one of a very few roofers in the area that repair tile roofs, so it's great that they can do that work for a reasonable cost.

I was impressed and pleased with Triple M from start to finish. Among the various home service providers we've used over the years (other roofers, painters, plumbers, plasterers, carpenters, etc.), this has been the best business to work with. That's not meant to reflect poorly on the other people who have worked on our house, most of whom have been really good, but these guys are not just really good, they're great.
The whole team -- the three Menezes brothers and their employees -- worked diligently and with great attention to detail. You're dealing directly with the owners of the business -- they're up on the roof doing the work alongside their employees, and they care about doing the job right. These are craftsmen who pay attention to the details and they have years of experience to know how to resolve problem areas. The crew worked for several weeks straight, showing up every morning except for a day here and there when they let me know they wouldn't be able to work because of the rain. They were conscientious and coordinated their work with me to be sure they wouldn't be interfering with the family as work was ongoing. The job site was always cleaned up before they left for the day.
From a price perspective, they're not cheap, but I give them an A for price because doing the job right costs money, and they delivered top-notch work. Of course I'd be happier paying less, but if it means compromising the quality of the work it's not worth the initial savings. Before starting, they provided an estimate, laid out what was included in the estimate, and noted the assumptions that formed the basis of the estimate. After the job started we discussed having them do some additional work which they incorporated into a new estimate and then they stayed right on track with the estimate for the entire job.

The whole job went well. The estimate involve a rather steep learning curve for us. They were knowledgeable about the style and architecture of our home style. They explained how things were done when the house was constructed, and what the several possibilities were for us now. They gave costs, they showed us pictures of what each type of gutter replacement would look like. We thought about it, and made our decision. They gave us a date they would come. It was pretty accurate. Since we had such a rainy spring they were a little later than they expected. But then, our job took longer than expected and the next family would also start later. One excellent thing - they come everyday until the job is done. I like that a lot.

They're absolutely phenominal. They're extremely professional. They come out when they say they're going to. They gave us choices on fixing our probems. They did a terrific job. We had a roof leak in the winter and they saw it was actually our chimney that needed fixed. They saved us money on gutters when they didn't have to. When they were taking off our gutters, they found rot that we didn't expect. They stayed an extra week to fix it, and didn't solve us anything close to what we should have been charged. We think it's because we've been loyal to the company in the past.

They were on time and very professional. They left no debris behind and completed the job in one dayl, whether other companies projected two days. Also, there was no high pressure sale and they were true to their initial estimate. The job performed was very good.

They are very unique to slate roofs. They replaced missing slates at a fixed fee. For every slate they put up they charged $25 and they were a lot that had fallen down over the last few years. I like the way they charged because it wasn't by time; it was so much per slate. They were very friendly and they did a great job. The biggest problem was getting them here. It took about four months to get them here but it was during the winter and you can't work on a slate roof during the winter. A contractor had recommended them. I liked the way they did the pricing. It was very transparent so I knew exactly what it was going to cost me versus how other people come up with their pricing. I will definitely use them again. They are very busy and it took a while just to get them here to give me an estimate.

It was exceptional. They back up their work, they are punctual, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. They were very helpful on informing us on what exactly we were getting before they started on the project. They provided drawling and also explained the drawling to us which was very helpful.

Triple M did an excellent job. They got here first thing in the morning and were gone so quickly I barely knew they were here, but their work looks superb - exactly matches our existing slate - and the terrible leak that the missing slates had caused is completely gone and all for an extremely reasonable and affordable price. When they were here they did an estimate of more work we needed done and with the bill (exactly the amount we had discussed on the phone) they sent a very professional quote that was itemized with detailed descriptions of work to be done and price so we could decide which things we would like them to do the next time they come out and how much it would cost. It was great to be able to see how much work needs to be done to our roof and how much each thing will cost so we now have a reference for what we should expect work to cost in the future. I cant give them a glowing enough recommendation. We are very happy to have found them and they will always be who we call when we need work done to our roof.

This is a fantastic company. Family run, caring and very professional. Here's what they did. We have a large built 1905 Newton house with 2 chimneys and slate roof on both the house and the 2 car garage. During a fall rainstorm we had water coming in as if from a faucet. I joined Angies list, read reports, and called them. Someone came right out, checked our problem, gave us a to do list to minimize problems, and said they would come back when it wasn't raining. It's too slippery on a slate roof to be up there during a rain/snow storm. They came back, took multiple pictures of the roof and chimneys showing where all the cement was missing - letting in rain, and gave a detailed description of what had to be done, listing options and costs. It took several days with a work crew to complete the work. They cleaned up perfectly. At that time we asked for an estimate to do the garage roof. Once again they took multiple pictures including close ups of the damage. We again got a written estimate explaining options and costs. And again the crew worked swiftly, and cleaned up perfectly. I hardly knew they were there. I'll never use anyone else for roof work. I don't know if they are expensive or not. I liked what I read on Angies list, and they came right away so I didn't interview others. Talking with friends and hearing their stories, I think we had a great experience.

It went very well. They worked quickly and had a high attention to detail and quality. I hired them after a lot of research and speaking to at least 10 slate/copper roofing companies. This whole job was to address old rotten dormers and ice damming problems (we also insulated at the same time) There are many companies who claim to be able to work on slate and are really misrepresenting their skills. Triple M is expensive but you will get a top of the line job that will fix your problems and last for decades.

After we returned the signed contract, they immediately came over and put back the missing flashings. That was very much appreciated as another storm is coming. One week after, we got a phone call stating that they will come in tomorrow to fix the missing slates and other issues (we would appreciate a notice earlier so that one of us can take the time off). The job was reasonablely finished, but there are still nails removed during the installation laying on the roof. That would be my major complaints.

He came to give the estimate. He was very reliable and professional. He even came back after we suspected there was a leak. He went up on the roof and showed what was really wrong. They were willing to work with us, even though it was a small job. He is very responsive and returns your calls.

They come twice a year, trying to time their visit so they prepare the house for the next season. For example, they try to come after most of the fall leaves are down so the gutters are clear for the winter. The work is done well and they are honest about what needs replacing and what doesn't.

He is a good slate roofer. He was polite and professional and came right out to get the job done. He cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with the service overall and I would definitely recommend him to my friends.
