R H Young Cooling & Heating

I was very pleased. They were courteous, prompt, and did they work they said they would do.

The system has failed to live up to the hype.  We had Young do the annual maintenance. After the third replacement control module (in less than 5 years), our air conditioning unit that is part of the furnace system began to leak the Freon.  It was discovered that when Young's technician was working on the furnace that an incorrect screw was used and over time rubbed a hole in a section in a section of the air conditioner. The tech said the unit could not  be repaired and the unit would have to be replaced. . I called another company and they found where it was damaged and made the repair.  This incident was the result of having to replace the computer board for the 3rd time in less than 5 1/2 years.  When I called to have someone from Young to look at this -I was told that they were really busy with a big job in Boston and why didn't we find someone else to handle our problem.
We had a service plan with the company but this year they changed the plan ignoring all the past guarantees and if the fan motor had to be replaced we would have to pay for it $1000 plus installation    Great deal you have to buy a new motor almost every year plus pay for a service plan that has no real coverage. 
If you are going to buy a heating system don't buy a  Xenon heating system !!!!!

It went well.

From the time that I got an initial rough estimate to the time I actually signed up for the work, the price of this job increased about 50%. There were justifications for the increase that seemed reasonable and lined up with estimates I had received from other companies, so I hired RH Young because I had the best feeling about them. The installation began well, but when my electrician came to do his portion of the job, I found that a leg on the dresser in my bedroom had been broken and no one had mentioned it to me. I also noticed that the installers used some type of clay to seal the point where the pipes came into my bedroom from the outside and I was not at all satisfied with the appearance. After some very uncomfortable phone calls, I finally had the owner at my condo the day of the start-up to address my concerns. The matter was resolved to my satisfaction with RH Young paying to have my handy man build a box to hide the clay and fix the dresser.

PAUL WAS EFFICIENT AND WAS HELPFUL IN ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT MAINTAINING THE SYSTEM.
