"Thank you so much for taking the time to write this positive review! It was an absolute pleasure working with you!"
Luke estimated the job would take two days and he held true to his time line. Within two days, the area was dug out, the patio placed and the fire pit built. He loamed and seeded the grass surrounding the work area. Furthermore, he extended our flower beds, added two dogwood trees and mulched the area. We also had Fougere Landscaping add irrigation to our existing flower beds.
The crew did an amazing job of adding to our existing patio that one can not tell where the old patio ends and the new begins. It is seamless! Similarly the flower beds were extended and blend right into the rest of our landscaped yard. The irrigation that was added works perfectly with the rest of our system!
Luke and his crew were extremely professional. They were respectful of our family and our property. At the end of the first day, the site was cleaned and organized. Following the completion of the project everything was put back into place, patio swept clean and driveway rid of all remonance of debris.
We were extremely pleased with the work done and look forward to working with Fougere Landscaping on future projects.
the positive and negatives of each product allowing us to make an informed decision on which pavers to use. He gave a
detailed estimate which in the end came within dollars of the actual price.
His crew was very friendly and professional. They were careful with the work site, cleaning up very nicely at the end of each day, and respectful of a family of young children. When building the patio, they took great care in making sure the ground was level and prepared before laying the brick. Luke made sure the pitch of the patio was correct so that rain water flowed smoothly off the patio and down the lawn. Furthermore, he reworked our gutters so that rain water would not puddle onto the patio. Luke, himself, was very involved in the project. He made sure the bricks were cut to perfection. Whenever there was an issue or concern, he was very open to hear about it and quick to address it without any hesitation.
Luke was very methodical in installing the irrigation system. He was careful to make sure that the lawn had complete coverage by the system. He suggested that we install a second water meter to make sure we cut down on our sewer and water bill through the town. The system he installed has a rain sensor on it so as to not over water the lawn and cut down on the amount of water used. Our grass is much greener thanks to the amazing system.
Our backyard was completely unlevel and covered in many weeds. Luke suggested we grade the area and reseed the back yard. He and his crew spent time spreading fresh loam over the entire backyard, raking, and spreading the loam to ensure the proper grade of the lawn. After the grading was complete, he and his crew spread seed over the area. On his own accord, Luke came back to check on the yard and the new growth of the grass. He reseeded and re-raked the areas that did not take as well as they should have. He also plans to add plantings in the spring to add to the beauty of our yard.
Luke is a very personable landscaper. He takes great care in his work and it shows. He was very considerate of our family's needs and was able to work around our schedule. We would highly recommend him to others and will most certainly use him again in the future for hardscape projects as well as planting and landscape needs.
"What an amazing review! Thank you so much for the incredible attention to detail and for taking the time to write such a positive review. We love this kind of work and allowing us to design and install multiple additions to your yard. We thoroughly enjoyed working with you and are excited for the next phases to come. We truly have a passion for landscaping and you allowed this to show with the selected work at your home. I am extremely pleased with how everything came out and extend not only my, but my crew's gratitude in choosing to work with us. Our customer always comes first. Thank you again for everything."
"Thank you very much for taking the time to write this feedback. I do apologize that you've expressed dissatisfied ratings and that you were surprised with the bill you received. I quoted this job approximately a year before we did the work. The one bill ended up being a fraction of what we quoted because we were told the client was on a tight budget. I had explained to the client that I was on the job working and did not charge for my own labor to help with budget. This amounted to a full day of labor on my end at no charge. While at the job site the client was home. Once it reached the $300.00 budget the client set, I informed the client several times. I explained the bill would be simple math... X amount of $ per hour per worker = total bill plus disposal costs. We were told to continue after I expressed the client could have until the end of the year (4 months) to pay the one bill. I was paid after reminding and asking for the money owed -Though not paid in full until the time agreed has passed. I also informed the client that the debris on the job ended up having to go to a facility further away and the disposal pricing was charged at exact cost with offer to view receipt. The disposal charges reflected the actions of the client as they brought 2 dump truck loads of debris from their own work from the back yard and asked we dispose of it. We did with a smile. The client changed the work day and time after we had scheduled the work several times and got upset with me when we came an hour late due to a personal matter which was explained in advance and apologized for. At first, the client refused to pay the bill over $300.00 even after billing was discussed and updated on-site. When a client questions payment, I break down to exact detail, the charges. If a client refuses payment I remind them of our contract and I would prefer to keep things honest. On another note, I wanted to express my sincere condolences for the loss of your youngest brother. I can understand why it would be difficult to comprehend and deal with money talk in such times of hardship. Take the best of care."
"Thank you for taking the time to post feedback. I am happy to hear you are pleased with our work. See you in the spring for the projects continued! Note: We met at the fair at Bedford Day."
I recommended him to my neighbor and they had his company do some yard work. I would definitely hire him again.
"Thank you so much for taking your time to write us positive feedback. This job was really enjoyable. It really improved the front yard and curb appeal. Even the neighbors came out while we were working to thank us for improving their line of site. Thank you for the work!"
"Thank you very much for the positive support! The before and after appearance is a world of difference. We truly appreciate the work and I truly appreciate the feedback!"
