T STEWART CORP

The siding part was ok but the windows and deck had problems. There is a big gap in the top of the porch railing that doesn't match up. There was also a big draft by the windows and when we called him he didn't return our calls at first. After a couple of weeks he finally sent his foreman out. He took a look and didn't ever come back. We even wrote them a nice letter telling them that there were still issues with the work still needing to be done. That was a couple of months ago and we are still waiting to hear from him. REBUTTAL TO SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE: Mr. Stewart is confused. The gentleman who came to house was the manager. He came in response to a call from the workman when I said the screens were imperfect. They didn't close. The manager called the company, and they agreed the screens were imperfect. New screens were ordered and the manager put them on. That was in August. He never checked for drafts; we didn't know there was a problem. It was August! As for the deck, when Mr. Stewart gave us an estimate, I said we were considering a composite material. He said that would be $1000.00 more, so we opted for wood. At no time did he mention with wood swelling. Our old deck was wood and was 22 years old, with no swelling problem. The last time his foreman stopped by and was shown my deck railing and one ballaster, he said "that happens, I'm surprised there isn't more swelling." Tom Stewart hasn't been informed about my door, because he NEVER RETURNS CALLS.
