Pat Tovey was the most responsive and honest mortgage broker in my experience.
She was always reachable or highly responsive by phone during the mortgage process, and she had long business hours that where highly convenient to working professionals after work.
Her prices and mortgage rates were competitive with all of the other mortgage brokers that we surveyed in shopping for this home purchase loan.
She was highly knowledgeable and would walk us through what to expect during the loan process.
Pat was also the first Mortgage Broker that I have met that recommended against a variable rate loan. She admitted that even though she may make the same or more money on these loans, that they would usually end up hurting the purchaser at the first reset of the loan rate. She was very thorough in making sure we understood all of the particulars of the variable loan rate and the pitfalls that can happen with these loans.
I will definitely call Pat Tovey again in the future for any purchase or refinancing needs.
