Mitch's Repair Service

I did not put fuel stabilizer in my snowblower so it wouldn't start. There was a large storm forecasted, and someone from Mitch's was picking up my neighbors snowblower. I ran out and explained that what was wrong with mine, and asked if there was any chance of it getting repaired before the storm. He took my snowblower as well, and told me I would heard from the office. Someone from the office called me. I explained that the carburetor needed to be repaired or replaced, because the fuel had sat. They told me if they had one in stock they would replace it, and I would have it for the storm. If they had to order one it would be too late. I said no problem my fault for waiting until the last minute. I gave them permission to replace it. I head from them the next day with a call telling me they had good news. They had it in stock and made the repair. While they were at it they decided to service, and practically rebuild the entire thing without my permission. They wanted $550 for all of the work they did without my permission. I refused to pay for the unauthorized repairs, and they would not give me back my snowblower. They kept it and sold it. If I had told them to do whatever it takes to get it running, and refused to pay it would be one thing, but they did repairs I had not authorized. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. Stay away from this place.
