We essential tore down our old home and built a custom designed new structure starting in Spring 2002 and moved in in the Summer of 2003. The process was on time, very few surprises in terms of cost and, very important now, they have continued to provide support when we needed it over the last 10 years. In terms of the process they had a good handle on the suppliers and gave us clear and timely instructions regarding the large number of decisions we needed to make as the building progressed. As a result we had essentially no delays, because of our decision making and very few change orders. Their subcontractors were generally very good. In two cases the subcontractors were acceptable, but not outstanding and in both cases they have upgraded and the replacement subcontractors have been very good. The General Contractor's own team is relatively small, but we liked the people, they were a pleasure to work with and they were very responsive. Most important the house is now 10 years old and in very good shape. We have had very few issues, some external and some related to the original building. They have continued to take care of those issues which could be attributed to the original construction and have been very responsive in helping us do the small odd projects which come up at reasonable cost. For example our unfinished basement flooded when the sump pumps failed during a major storm and they had people and back up pumps working within a couple of hours when there was no way we could have gotten help on our own given the large number of homes flooded in the area.
Description of Work: Build our home in 2002/2003 Have continued to provide support including a modest addition currently underway
