Aqua Barriers did a terrible, unprofessional job that has taken years to appreciate how bad it has been.The roof pitch in two of the three sides of where it drains was not pitched correctly.Soon after the new roof was put in, leaks started developing. We have spent more than the original cost of the roof to correct the pitch and patch the leaks. I have internal damage in several locations.
I recently discovered that they closed off my dryer vent went they replaced the roof. For 8 years my dryer was blowing lint into my attic space!This borders on the criminal and had I not decided to replace my dryer I would have not known and our building would have continued to be at very high risk of fire.
Regarding the re-build of the deck, they never returned dozens of my calls over months yet they delivered some cheap wood and never built anything and then demanded payment on the wood. My neighbor also asked them to build a roof deck and an access staircase but they delivered wood for him and also left it there. My neighbor considered suing them and asked me to join him but I declined as I am not interested in litigation. I now regret it. We had to pay to have the poor quality wood removed from our roof and it took me about to years to rebuild the deck at of course more cost.
There are very few companies that can do the type of work Aqua Barriers claims to do and this gives them almost a monopoly. DO NOT HIRE THEM! I have instructed our management company to keep them away from our building.

"To whom this may concern: AquaBarriers performed a contract for Barrington Management at this location. The roof received a 15 year warranty from Carlisle roofing system and was awarded a 10 out of 10 for quality. A complete deck was built on this site and approved by Barrington mgmt. No wood or demand for payment for work not completed was ever done. We have never been contacted about any problems at this location and neither has Carlisle? There are multiple roofs on this building,maybe Nicholas is confusing us? AquaBarriers Inc. would never ever do this and if there was a problem we or Carlisle would have addressed it."

We have not been terribly pleased with their work because after the fixed some gutters for us, we had some leaking issues. Earlier this spring when we had bad rain storms, our roof started leaking and they were supposed to come out and look at it. They failed to show up for a couple of appointments, so we have been looking at a different vendor.

"We, AquaBarriers Inc. have never worked for this individual. We worked for a property management company which did work at 557 mass ave, where I think (Member name removed) may owns a unit. in Boston not Chestnut Hill. We have never received a call from(Member name removed). He may have contacted the management company and it is their prerogative whether they contact us. Again, no work was ever done by our company in Chestnut Hill and we were never contacted. We are sorry about his leaks."
