Custom Coat & Glaze

Very responsive, great service and it looks great.

After 3 years I was disappointed that my tub already started to peel again. I put off getting it redone for a while until I decided to use another company since I was hoping it would last longer. The new company said that they had done a terrible job, didn't even use primer, and it was surprising it had even lasted as long as it did. They charged for a service they didn't perform and unfortunately I didn't know any better until I had to have it redone again. Do not use this company!

The vendor is good. The process is nasty. I'm frankly surprised that their crew members can survive working with the resin every day. I went into the house about 4 hours after the glazing and, after about two minutes, had a headache that lasted for an hour. We basically had to move out of the house for two days and not use the bedrooms near the tub for four days (while leaving the bathroom exhaust fan running).
The tub looks nice, but if you want to do this schedule it for a time when you're leaving to go on vacation.

They did an exceptional job! From first contact to completed job, they had excellent communication. Flavio, the technician, took his time and explained how to treat the surface. They even sent the invoice online, which is very convenient.

This a terrible company. They subcontract to incompetent and corrupt handymen. They guy who came to our place was late, though nice enough. He offered to reduce our price if we gave him some money under the table, which we declined to do. On top of that, he did a miserable job, and we had to get him to come out again. Rather than respraying the entire tub again, however, he merely sprayed the portion he did a bad job on, leaving obvious marks. Worse still, he dumped the mixed chemicals out of our window, leaving white coating on the outside wall of our house that marred the paint job. When we discussed the problem with the owner, he became abusive, shouting at my wife on the telephone and calling her names. He eventually offered us $50 to make us go away, which we did not accept. I would strongly recommend that you avoid this company. We had a much better experience with Porcelain Patch and Glaze.

The work was awesome. They were on time, they did a good job, they cleaned up, and they were nice. There were a few little problems but they came right back to fix them up. Their price was comparable to everyone else.

Angelo from custom coat came into my home and was very attentive, listened to my ideas ,then offered his own insight. i was surprised to find that he just wasn't any guy trying to sell me a product. i was genuinely impressed with his knowledge and insight in regards to refinishing , tub liners and wall systems , he wasn't pushy and layed it out for me to make my own informed decision.Their product lines are bar none and their service was impeccable , i guess you can't be in the residential remodeling business if you can't back up what you offer. i would definately recommend custom coat and glaze as well as boston bath systems to anyone who is not very knowledgeable about these particular fields , but wants an informed yet comfortable experience , along with beautiful and long lasting product along with excellent service..

The glaze is peeling. I called them and they came back once to treat problem. It continues to peel. I had a lawyer send them a letter and they ignored it. I spoke with them since and they accused me of swearing at them, being drunk, and throwing things. This are baseless accusations. There are very unprofessional and no one should use this company. They claimed that they came several times to treat the problem, but they have only been out once. They are a very dishonest company.

It went really well. He did a really good job. Any tub glaze can't be completely perfect. I accepted a few tiny imperfections. There was not as much overspray as I have seen on other tub refinishing jobs.
