Fabulous and beautiful work. Organized, efficient, on time, did the work in the time alloted. The estimate showed up the next day, and the scheduling happened very quickly. They showed up, and did beautiful work in my Back Bay home. Definitely highly recommended.

Awesome. I've worked with Peter many times in 6 years of renovating or repairing my 1895 home. The quality is outstanding. He provided guidance, did sample work to help us (we were choosing between a few different colors and ways to combine them) and his crew worked quickly.

While the bulk of the project was exactly what we discussed, the ceiling of our porch did not come out as we intended and communicated. He had the crew strip it and stain it the right way and it was perfect. Peter also seems like a good human and I will only deal with good humans.

ADELFIA has also painted every single room in our home across the years in renovation projects in conjunction with Aburndale Builders. I will recommend ADELFIA every day.

Peter and his team are efficient, friendly and professional.  I couldn't be happier with the quality of the job.  Communication was excellent.  I also really appreciated that the team showed up exactly on time (not late OR early!) and were extremely good about protecting my floors and cleaning up after themselves.  Overall, outstanding.  I will not be going back to my old painter.

Peter and his team were very pleasant to work with and did an outstanding job. We had some cracks in our ceilings and you would never know after the touch ups. They are experts in what they do and we would not hesitate to call them back in when we are in need of more work. They even helped us rehang some large paintings when the job was finished. We appreciated them going above and beyond!

We were very impressed with Peter from our first meeting with him until he finished the final details of the job. He moved quickly to finish the job and left no detail incomplete.
They started with the outside of the windows in September. It took less than a week to strip and paint the outside of the windows. They removed the shutters and replaced them post job.
They also painted the side of our garage that was damaged by a falling branch this summer. This job was done during the outside of the windows.
The inside job went just as well. It took them a little bit less than a week to complete. He was able to match the inside color to other trim in the house perfectly.
His team was very punctual and professional. We have an old house and they were incredibly diligent about keeping the workspace clean. I would not have even know that they had been there when they left.
I will use Peter in the future for all of my painting needs.

Peter and his were very diligent, especially in preparing the house for painting.  This was the most important of everything they did. The house has pillars, and when finished it looked like the pillars were brand new.  They did a fantastic job.  I would hire them in a heart beat again.

The entire experience was excellent.  Peter and his crew were prompt, responsive and very good at their work.  They never questioned our requests and were very particular about every aspect of the job.  I would recommend this company to anyone.  Really superior.

Peter had painted our den a few years ago, and had done a top-notch job. So we decided to contact him again. He first gave us a quote and then kindly fit us into his schedule when one of his other jobs was delayed. He and his assistant were very prompt and very efficient. There was a little dust in the hallway and the stairs, but that was all. Peter asked for 50% payment after the first day of work. Since we couldn't inspect his work until we got home from our jobs (at which point Peter and his assistant had left our house for the day), we asked if we could leave a check for him the following morning, and he was fine with that arrangement. When the work was finished we mailed him the second (final) payment. We have no complaints and are very pleased with the results.

Peter and his team were great - very polite, friendly and sweet.  They were very efficient in getting the job done and I never felt imposed upon with painting going on all around.  I wholeheartedly recommend them!

They did an excellent job. The staff was really good to work with. I was living in an older home so he did a beautiful job. The house had to be near perfection. They had to work very hard. They were quick. I would definitely use them again. I’m using them in spring.

Throughout the project, Peter's team did an excellent job. Peter is very thorough and meticulous - his team works hard and does an excellent job. The house looks great - inside and out. His team pays attention to detail and was very flexible on working with us on the schedule we needed. With Peter's experience in the business, he was also very helpful in consulting with us on the right paints for each part of the house. We would definitely use Peter's group again and again.

They did great work, and they were an absolutely pleasure to work with. From the prep work to the touch-up, the workers were prompt, neat, careful, and courteous. Our home remodeling project was on a tight budget, and Peter worked with us to identify ways we could save money without affecting the look of the finished work too severely. For example, Peter suggested using Polyshades on some new trim instead of a more traditional stain-and-poly; the look is definitely a compromise, but it was *much* cheaper, and we're happy with the trade-off. Another example: we wanted to avoid refinishing the existing wood trim where possible, even though it was spattered and splashed with paint from the walls, and Peter had his crews work hard to make it look as good as possible without having to sand/strip and refinish. Overall, we're very happy with the final look. We also hired Adelphia to repaint our rental unit as part of the same project. We were on a tight schedule--the work had to be done in the five days after the deleaders finished up, but before the new tenants moved in. Adelphia worked with us to meet that schedule, no problem. In one room, I asked Adelphia to paint the ceiling but not the wall. When I found some some ceiling paint that had dripped onto the wall and dried there, I was nervous, since I don't have touch-up paint to match the walls. I shouldn't have been nervous! Peter had his crew come back, match the paint, and paint the walls of the room, free of charge. That's just one example of his policy of working until the job is done right. Given what we paid to paint the inside of our house, I wouldn't call Adelphia a "budget" painter. They are a quality company that believes in doing the job right, and you pay for that kind of service. But they take their commitment to quality very seriously; it's a pleasure to work with people who know what they're doing, and won't stop until they get it right. We're looking forward to having them paint the outside of our house next spring!

Overall, the job looks good. It was a very large job, $6,000.00. I didn't feel that the manager supervised the job appropriately. There were a lot of small damages from their work. For instance, my radiator had paint all over it. They didn't cover the doorknobs or the door stops. They didn't take very good care of my home or my belongings. The home is 100 years old. They scraped the paint down to the wood but didn't sand it so now there are striations in some areas, especially the window trim. It seemed like they hurried through the prep work. They were supposed to do chemical stripping but they didn't, they just scraped. They also missed some spots that were left visible on the walls. The tape they used actually pulled up the polyurethane on my floors. They didn't inform me of the damages, I was left to discover them myself. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the owner blamed the quality of the work on the age of my home. He came back out several times to remedy the issues but chose to implement the quickest fix available. They really lacked in their professionalism and their demeanor. I had to put a lot of work into cleaning up once they completed the job. Overall, it was not a smooth experience. There were some positives in working with them. He knew a lot about paint including what type of paint to use where. For instance, he used a certain type of paint in the bathroom that prevents mold growth. He provided multiple air filters to help with the residual dust and odors as well. I am sure when things go smoothly he does a nice job, but what really makes a contractor is their ability to present and remedy issues when they come up.

It was a totally satisfactory experience. Peter Vasiliadis runs a first rate operation and we were very pleased with the result. His painters come when he says, do high quality work, and clean up after themselves. His cost is higher than some other companies, but we felt the outcome was well worth the price.

Fantastic. Peter adjusted the workload and price once he got started. We realized that the entire body didn't need to be painted and he was very accommodating to just do the areas needed. His crew cleaned up every day and finished punctually. I would highly recommend Adelfia.
