It went badly. We made several phone calls but did not get a return call until our 5th attempt. After another lengthy delay, we were told that they would not refinance. As it turned out, this turned into a positive. We approached a local bank, received a refinance at a favorable rate, dealt with courteous, helpful representatives, and will now be savings hundreds of dollars in monthly payments.

We currently have him as a mortgage lender. We have our mortgage finance through them. Prior to that, we had a mortgage with them that we refinanced. Their rate was very competitive, but some of the customer service is a little bit lacking. They are sort of bureaucratic. I would probably not recommend them.

Wells Fargo is great and they are competitive. Scott Ethelman is who I deal with. He is great and he's right in town there for me to work with. So, while this is a larger company, I still get really good care from them and I'm totally satisfied with them and I definitely could recommend them for mortgages to other people.
