"[Member name removed], I would be happy to come back and take care of this. I wish you had called me. I had no idea about any of these things. My goal is to make every customer 100% happy. Please call and lets rectify this. Stephen"
The inside painting job was done very well. The walls needed extensive patching and prep work due to a very old badly installed wallpaper that was removed. As they were finishing the living room, they notices that the small front hall looked bad in comparison - and suggested we get the painted too - a great move - made the house look much better. Their help in choosing color was good too - both for the inside and the outside.
Very friendly and professional crew.
We got their names from three friends who used and recommended the,
Stephen and his crew have gotten a lot of painting done in our home, they have done a good job with the work, and it was done in a timely way. Stephen really cares about his customers' happiness with the overall job, and he offers a fair price for his work. I recommend hiring Stephen and would do so again myself. I read another review that said Stephen was negative, and I want to address this issue. Stephen is passionate about making his customers happy, and he gets frustrated if customers want things that he thinks won't look good, or if he thinks he won't be able to do the job well in the time or circumstances allotted, and maybe he doesn't always clearly communicate why he's upset. For example, Stephen seemed frustrated with us for paint color requests we made for our job and with its timing. But when I called Stephen back to discuss the issue, Stephen offered to paint a test wall at no extra charge so we could see what his recommended colors would look like. The place looked fantastic, and we were convinced to go ahead with the job as he was recommending. As he put it, "I just want you to be happy with it all when I am done." Finally, to get the work done before flooring contractors came, Stephen worked on a Sunday and a holiday. He also came back after the flooring contractors did their work to touch things up. So even though we had a little tension early on, Stephen ultimately did a LOT to ensure that we were happy with the finished job. I think you just need to understand where he is coming from and communicate openly with him if there is a problem. He really does work hard to resolve issues fairly so that his customers are happy.
"I just came across this review. It saddens me to hear this review as I take pride in my work. However, this customer was impossible to please from the minute I arrived promptly. She had many contractors working there raising dust while we were painting. Impossible! I tried to explain this to the homeowner to no avail. Of course the work would not come out as great as I would have liked with other contractors dust flying everywhere. However there were no contractors in the basement and she was thrilled with the outcome of that area! I just felt like I could not please this customer no matter how hard I tried. However I am sad to see this review. If she would like I am willing to go back and paint one room for free for her. Because I honestly do thrive on customer satisfaction."
