We are fixing up a detached garage to make a workshop and hired Genesis insulation to add closed-cell spray foam insulation to the walls and roof. Shant Karian, the sales representative who contacted us and came to give the estimate, was knowledgeable and straightforward, asking appropriate questions that demonstrated to us that he really knew his business. Scheduling was easy, and they were very accommodating of change in schedule that we needed to make to replace some of the roof decking that was rotted out. There was one minor miscommunication: we are going to put shiplap siding on the inside of the roof, and the rafters were not initially scraped of the hardened foam to allow the boards to be attached to the rafters. When I told Shant about this, he sent one of his guys back to scrape the rafters later in the week, and he was very willing to accommodate my schedule. The tech went above and beyond, working until after 9pm on Saturday to finish the work and clean up afterwards. In short: excellent experience. They were knowledgeable, honest, good communicators, and did excellent quality work. I will definitely hire them again when I need more insulation work done.
