It was wonderful! He came when he supposed to, left absolutely with no mess, and it was perfect.

Excellent. I cannot imagine a better experience: careful, efficient, cordial, clearly a person of integrity who answered all my questions forthrightly and without trying to urge additional work I didn't need. This is a small family business with a 50+ year history. The cost was not cheap but was entirely reasonable for several hours of hard work with spotlessly clean result. Altogether this is by far my best experience with a chimney-cleaning service--excellent in all respects. Indeed I can't imagine a better outcome.

As usual, the work went perfectly. I have used this company for over 20 years and Erwin, (and now his son) are unfailingly excellent. Neat, thorough and personable.

He was very professional, called a day before the appointment to confirm. Arrived on time and I live in a very busy area. He was clean, took all the debris with him. I asked him to give me an assessment on the liner and gave me his honest opinion saving me some money. I will definitely call him again.

Erwin was a pleasure to deal with.  He was prompt in providing an estimate and he came promptly after the winter was over to repair the chimney.  I am so pleased in how the chimney was repaired and with his honesty!  I highly recommend Erwin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erwin did a great job and would definitely use him again for further service. He responsive, punctual, and took time to explain everything he was doing. He pointed out things to look for such as certain build up, and noted the need to install a flue liner down the road for the furnace flue, but was quick to point out this was not an immediate need and did not try to upsell us any unneeded service. He was attentive to detail and was able to boil everything down into laymen's terms to help us understand everything.  I have already recommended him to family.

We were having a problem with smoke coming into the room and not  contained to the chimney.   I contacted Erwin because he  is a local company that is  so highly recommended on Angies List.  We communicated first via email, then by phone and he was able to schedule a convenient time to come to our house.  He is knowledgeable, professional and pleasant.  We highly recommend him.  Now we can really enjoy our fireplace during the cold New England winter.

Ernest was great to work with. He was prompt in his communications and arrived right on time. Prior to starting the work he asked if we were having any issues and I explained that we did occasionally get smoke in the house. He looked at the fireplace and explained that while it was a large fireplace, which may be causing the problem, he would also recommend repositioning the position of the log rack. He found some cracking in the chimney, but didn?t think it warranted a repair at this point. He quoted me $275 to clean the chimney which I accepted and he did the job on the spot without a bit of mess. When he was done he told me it was quicker than he expected it to be and lowered the price to $250. He had me light a fire to test it and made a few recommendations of ways to do it better. On the test run we had no smoke in the house, so that?s off to a good start.
He was friendly, personable, and up front about what needed to be and what would some day need to be done. He also gave maintenance advice. I would gladly use him again when the time comes.

Mr. Liverman was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. He came when he said he would, was on time, and very professional and helpful. He gave excellent advice on top of the service he provided. He is clearly knowledgeable about his trade and was very pleasant to work with. While being a tad more than the bigger companies we called, the price was still very reasonable, especially with the peace of mind of knowing exactly who our chimney guy is, rather than getting a different technician every time from the bigger companies. We will be using Mr. Liverman on a regular basis in the coming years.

Very fast response, job well done.  Chimney and furnace are now able to fuction properly.  Erwin gave some great advice moving forward.  Erwin left the worksite cleaner than he found it.  Thanks so much.  I can't comment on the price, could I have done better????  I went with all the positive reviews on AL.  I have no second thoughts.  Very happy with his service.
