I always use them and they’ve always been good. They put my dog on antibiotics and he’s pretty good now. They've always been there for me and they talked me through stuff. They've given me appointments. The only thing bad about them is their parking, but the vets, the techs, and the receptionists there are great. They are kind, clean, and considerate. If they have to do something you don't want to see, they take the animals in the back. If you have a question, they will call you back within hours or minutes.

It always goes well at VCA Rotherwood. Dr. Scruton's team has always given Lola (my dog) excellent care since I first got her at 6 months. Their hours are very convenient for people with limited time. She's not always fond of the office (she recognizes it as the place that she gets shots I think), but they are wonderful at calming her down and treating her gently. They have been wonderful in emergency situations; swallowing plastic, helping to eat an entire cooked turkey, etc. I wouldn't go anywhere else. There may be places that are less expensive, but the quality of care here is so wonderful that I would not go anywhere else.

it was the day after one of the snow storms so they had openings and had me come right in. had 5 min wait and saw doctor. I went over my dogs medical history with him then he gave my dog a general exam. he also took blood and urine to send out for testing. we talked over possible treatments and care depending on the results. 2 days later the doctor called with the results. 1 day after that the office called to check on my dog. a couple of days later I got a call from the head office of VCA Rotherwood asking how the office visit went and if I was satisfied with the services. I'm happy with the treatment received and well use again.

They don't let you into the exam room with your dog. I have developed no relationship with the vets. At least the techs out front are very friendly. Getting heartworm scripts has been a huge pain. You'd think it was narcotics we were asking for!

On 6/23/07 during a routine check-up, the vet recommended that I have Nina's teeth cleaned. My cat had a history of a heart murmur so I scheduled an echocardiogram to determine if it would be safe. On 7/7/07 Dr. Neil Harpster performed the procedure and noted 3 times in his notes that she had "mild to moderate enlargement of the left atrium", but did not tell us. On 7/17/07, Nina was anesthesized and had her teeth cleaned. On August 12th Nina suffered congestive heart failure and was admitted to critical care at another animal hospital. The diagnosis was restrictive cardiomyopathy which is a fatal condition with a life expectancy of less than a year. Over the next 4 weeks Nina was treated on an outpatient basis at Angell. Her condition did not improve and on 9/5/07, we had her euthanized. We filed a claim against VCA. The adjuster stated in his denial of our claim, that we declined to have all of the recommended treatment and your cat was discharged at owner s risk 10 hours after admission according to the other hospital's records and you did not have some medical care performed due to financial reasons. However, Dr. Nevena Nikolajevic, the cardiologist who actually treated Nina at the other hospital wrote that she had frequent telephone calls and in person conversations with Mrs. Kadis and I (Dr. Nikolajevic) felt she had followed all my instructions to try and make Nina better and had never refused to have any medical test or treatment done that was suggested.

They are very good, and located close to my house in Newton. They have several vets, so it's easy to get an appointment at all times. They are a medium sized practice with very flexible hours. The prices are kind of expensive, but they are very nice.

We are very pleased with them. I have used them for a long time and they are always plugging new services to keep your pet healthy. They are personable and professional as well. Their prices are reasonable and the doctors are all extremely good with diagnosis's.

I like to take our dog to this vet clinic. They are always very attentive and kind. Because he is a senior, I am pleased with the way they care for the animals. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant to work with. I feel that they are a little on the higher end when it comes to price, however everything is more expensive.

This vet is a very professional and well maintained establishment, albeit a little expensive at times. That is ok though, the quality care they give is really good and the people are very nice and supportive. I will continue to use them for my animal and don't mind recommending them to others.
