Over the years, we have lost many pieces of garments in the store - we're busy professionals and do not typically check when we pick up. It's usually monthly after the pickup that we noticed that our clothing went missing. For example, I have an Armani Collection suit with only the jacket now but no pants. I ran into a web review by another Zoots customer and confirmed my suspicion - that reviewer apparently lost many pieces over the years as well. I once called the store to complain about the dresses that had spots after dry cleaning - the customer service line put me on hold for 45 minutes until I finally hang up. The central customer service finally called me back and asked me to go to the store to have my dresses cleaned again free of charge. I went back and the store manager gave me a very hard time, claiming that they don't guarantee stain removal and he'd only honor it once. I don't think that's necessary since I'm not going back anymore - after spending $80+ cleaning 5 summer dresses. Overall, I do NOT recommend going to Zoots.

Routine work done well.

Consistently great service. There are flexible times, they call the day before to confirm and they have consistently been on time. I usually move all my movable pieces ahead of time (I figure it speeds up the process, but they will do it for you and move everything back). The technician, John Gokey, gave me Styrofoam blocks and plastic to put under the pieces I'll put back later. You can have the same technician each time if you request it (John does great work) and they pre-spot all your stains.

We used Zoots numerous times over the course of about two years, primarily because the convenience and time-saving factor of home pickup and delivery. At the beginning they did pretty well, but as time went on they began to lose garments and take weeks to return cleaned garments. In all they lost about 10 to 12 garments. Some of them they eventually found and returned to us, but 4 shirts were lost forever, including two which were irreplaceable. We finally stopped using them when approximately half of the orders we gave them in the last six months or so were either lost or took weeks to get back, often only after we called.

Very well, carpets look better than anticipated.

After a water heater failure we tried to dry our finished basement. We were not successful and the room started to have an oder. Nervous, thinking we were on our way to a mold situation, I called Zoots at 7 pm on a Friday evening. By 9 pm Larry and John were at my door with industrial size fans and a dehumidifier and assured us we were not facing a mold situation. They set up the fans, under the carpet, in order for the drying process to be efficient. They lifted corners of the carpet so the fans could make the carpet 'float'. They returned Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday to check on the progress. The carpet was dry on Tuesday and they neatly removed their equipment and shampooed the effected area. We may need to have a carpet company re-tack the two corners of the room. I cannot comment on how their price compares because I did not get a comparison. Everyone I was involved with from this company was congenial, considerate, and very helpful. I highly recommend them!
