I can't overestimate how smoothly the job went once construction began. We were working with an architect and the relationship between Phil, the architect and ourselves was extremely collaborative. When problems or issues came up, Phil was very responsive and always offered a practical solution with an eye toward keeping our costs down. The quality of the work was exceptional. We had had our kitchen renovated before and were surprised at how shoddy the workmanship seemed, once we saw the finished product of this renovation. Given the size of the job, we were living with Phil's crew for awhile-- in addition to being quality craftsmen, they were just really nice people. Phil's estimate for the job was substantially below a number of the design build firms I talked to, but it would be hard for me to believe that the quality of their work could be any better. I strongly and enthusiastically recommend Phil Pierce!
