Description of Work: Moved 6 rooms of furniture, tools, patio furniture, first to their warehouse for two days storage and then to our new house. All furniture and items were accounted for and only one small item had some minor damage. All the furniture was reassembled (beds) and set up in the rooms as we showed them where the items should go. They even brought items up to the attic. Couldn't ask for better service.

 + -1 moreI used the Billerica Mass branch of Father & Son Moving and Storage for my parents move. I would never use them again. The moving crew themselves were very good. However the company and management is awful. Once you are booked with them you are assigned a rep. The phone number and email they give you is only to that rep. If you can't reach him, or do not get a call back from him, you cannot press "0" to get an operator or anyone else to speak with at the company. They quoted the move prior to the move day. It does say on their contract that the quote can change depending on what they find on the day of the move. However, we were charged $600.00 more than the estimate once the move was completed. This was not a large home they were moving. Their "estimate" was way off! They do not communicate very well regarding their procedures and policies and in my opinion I found them to be less than forthcoming. I would not recommend them.

Description of Work: This review is two-sided, but I will never use this company again. The good: the 3 guys that came to move our stuff were the best. They helped with everything we asked, were professional, and did a great job. The bad:Management. We were not told that we should pack items on our own or we would have to pay ridiculous amount to use their supplies. The guys told us when they got there and luckily I had time to run out and get supplies to avoid their prices. Then to get an invoice, it took us multiple attempts to get them to send it. Scheduling delivery was a disaster and again. Wouldn't return phone calls. Day of delivery, they didn't show up in the window they gave us. Tried calling multiple times and finally got someone. Was told on the way, but then was another hour later, so obviously lied. Also believe the price is higher than I've heard from friends that have moved. | |We even told the guys that the back-end was horrible and we weren't even going to tip because of the issues, but because they were so good, we did tip them well and even told them that they should work for a better company, because of how things are under bad management. | |Great guys that do the moving, but management is horrible and would never use them again.
