He did a fabulous job. He’s excellent. He is a contractor and has really good people working for him. He is also hands on with his work. He is very neat. He has done a lot of work for us.

John is a master craftsman and an excellent designer, with a lifetime of experience, as well as an exceptional group of sub-contractors, many of whom have been with him as long as we've known him (over 15 years). All of them are professional, neat, and first rate. John's design "eye" has always acted as our "guiding voice of reason" on all our projects with him, large and small, and his expertise has transformed each vision into something both beautiful and deceptively simple, looking like it's "always been there;" that we somehow just didn't see it before -- the true definition of good design. That is what John is all about, really: Good design and good craftsmanship. He is straightforward, and passionate about what he does. I hope we never are faced with having to break in someone new. In our experience, he is simply the best. Our most recent project with him, the 2nd/3rd floor renovation, surpassed all that we had envisioned. It is both breathtaking, and looks like it has always been there.
