Architect ignored client input and corrective feedback. He delivered a sloppy set of plans (labelled for another house) that did not meet our goals or site plan constraints. He became increasingly emotional, obstructive and difficult to work so we took our business elsewhere. In short, an arrogant, self-important and unprofessional individual with no customer-service approach. Don't waste your time or money - there are plenty of other architects out there as we have now happily discovered.
Description of Work: Chace Architecture was contracted to produce full architectural plans for a new home.

Response from Chace Architecture
Chace Architecture is a fully integrated design and construction firm that specializes in delivering projects from concept to completion. We have over 15 years of architectural and construction experience and thoroughness, attention to detail, customer service, and a collaborative approach with clients have always been hallmarks of our firm. Our contracts and project management methods are consistent with the highest levels of professionalism as set forth by the American Institute of Architects. After an extensive pre-design interview process, this client retained us in March 2011 to design a new 4,200sf single family home. We were diligent in our efforts to develop a design that met the client's needs. After working with the client over a four-month period and providing five fully developed design options, the client materially changed the scope of the project outside the terms outlined in our contract. Although we offered to continue working with the client under the additional services clause of the contract, the client declined to continue the work. We invite you to visit our website where you can link to our updated Facebook page to view images of this project and other samples of our work. We are also happy to provide references from our many satisfied customers upon request.
