Overall, the process was difficult. Joanne quickly figured out my needs and the best loan for my refinance. I have excellent credit, but was refinancing a 3-family, which is currently hard to do as many lenders are afraid to finance multifamily loans regardless of excellent owner credit. Several issues came up during the process, and Joanne sucessfully resolved each one. The largest issue was with the appraisal, and Joanne worked hard to address the issues and inaccuracies in the appraisal report, resulting in an increase in value in the final appraisal. Joanne is the most responsive, resourceful, and by far the best mortgage professional that I've dealt with throughout my years of property ownership. I paid a total of $2,900 for all closing costs (title, recording, appraisal, the mortgage broker fee, etc). I've worked with other mortgage brokers who offered lower closing costs, but they were vastly less qualified and less effective than Joanne. I've also worked with other mortgage brokers who seemed as smart as she is, but I found them to be far less responsive because they've generally taken on too much business. Joanne is great at what she does, and she seems to have a good balance of work so that she can appropriately serve her clients.
