Framing Service
These folks really know what they are doing. They're professional, prompt, and deliver very high-quality results. For difficult or very valuable pieces, I would engage them again unquestionably.
However, they are VERY expensive and seem to offer few, if any, lower price alternatives. After they performed work for me, I returned with a large, standard-size movie poster that I wanted framed with a simple black metal frame...their quote -- over $200. No thanks! I went online and purchased a perfectly serviceable metal frame, with backing and glass, for about $85.
My wife took a small watercolor to them and they quoted over $200. Instead, I took it to another frame shop and had the work done for $115.
So, beware! Newburyport Framers does wonderful work, but I recommend you always get a second estimate.
