This was our first year in our new (much bigger) house, and we didn't have time to design, shop and install holiday decorations in our entertaining spaces.  I approached Lisa about providing a design and purchase list for holiday decorations we could use year after year in the 2 entry halls and the formal living room.  She was very responsive to my October request and came out to measure and discuss needs and budget the following week.  A few weeks later (on schedule) she presented her designs, and I was thrilled.  She really took into account our requests, our budget, and our family's preferences.  She agreed to meet our rather short turnaround time of Dec 1st, and in fact, completed the installation early.  The decorations turned out great--each room has a different theme, but all were consistent with our style.  I was perhaps most impressed with the valiant efforts she put in to work with our fairly small budget.  She used most of the shopping budget on a few quality pieces like a high-end Christmas tree and pre-lit cordless garlands and wreaths, and she also look for opportunities to incorporate pieces that could be used year-round after the removal of a bow or greenery.  Then to save cost, she created a number of the decor items herself, filling glass vases with inexpensive ornaments, tying beautiful bows onto existing items, and wrapping fake presents with festive paper and bows that were into attractive arrangements.  She shopped at many different stores to get the best looks at low prices, and even took the initiative to use coupons and time sales to save us money.  The overall effect was amazing, and my husband and I agree that it was totally worth the investment.

I know Lisa put a lot more time and effort into this project that she had originally budgeted for, but despite that she remained ever courteous, thorough, and punctual.  I would definitely recommend her to others.

Lisa did an excellent job.  She really understood my style likes and dislikes and was attentive to specific requests (e.g. kid-proof dining room rug, seating for 12, etc.)  I was incredibly excited when she presented the project plan, and we made only 1 or 2 changes to the design.  She included every detail on the purchase lists: the color, wallpaper, and fabric choices of course, but also minor details like how many curtain rings to buy.  It made purchasing extremely easy.  She also recommended 3 vendors for various installations, and she ensured that all went smoothly.  When a few of her recommended items weren't available, she worked quickly to supply satisfactory replacements.
My husband and I were also very impressed that Lisa came in significantly UNDER budget on the purchase list!  She truly listened to what our preferences were about how and where to invest for high quality pieces (furniture, rug, art) and where it was great to be more frugal.  It was clear that she picked the pieces she thought were best, but didn't feel the need to spend it all--and we appreciate it.  One of our biggest fears going into this was that we would feel pressured to buy $400 pillows, etc.--definitely not the case with Lisa.
Lisa arrived for appointments and delivered the plans exactly as scheduled.  She was wonderfully responsive to any inquiry, and was always exceptionally professional.  I will definitely work with her again in the future.

It's not completed yet but so far she has been great. She is very, very thorough and she loves what she does. I would definitely recommend her.
