Dave, the owner, couldn't have been more professional. He provided an honest assessment and treated the areas. He was wonderful to work with and so knowledgeable about all the little critters in the area. We will 100% be using Essex for year to year maintenance at our property, including all rodents and pest maintenance.

It went very well, they arrived on time and immediately took care of business. They were very professional and polite.

I left a message at Essex Pest Control (EPC) on Saturday. Within an hour a person called me back and a visit was set for 12:00 that day! Dave, the owner, showed up about 10 minutes early and was as pleasant as could be. He went upstairs to scope out the ant infested area and informed me of the various spraying options. Then I got an ant education. I never knew ants were so interesting. Dave noticed the cat dishes and told me not to worry about the insecticide.Once the spray dried it would leave a fine white residue at which point the room is safe for the cats. The spraying was thorough and neat and did not have that aweful smell. I was surprised the bill was so modest. I can say with all honesty that EPC is the only pest control company that I will use from now on. There is absolutely nothing that could have made this experience better. If you want great service at a very resonable price EPC is the company for you.

I was impressed when Dave came out within 3 hours of my setting up the appt after discovering carpenter ants. He was very thorough, willing to explain what he was doing, how carpenter ants work, etc. His price was in the middle of the estimates I received, but I think his professionalism and thoroughness were worth it. He even sprayed a wasp nest for no extra charge.
