Jamie's Heating & Cooling

I needed to replace my old boiler and hot water heater. Jamie was responsive to my request for proposal, suggested a indirect hot water heater connected to the boiler, gave me the best price for the install, and was flexible with the work schedule. He showed up on time, and completed the job in the timeframe estimated. He cleaned up after himself and disposed the old boiler and hot water heater. He came back the day after installation to ensure that the boiler was functioning properly. Responded within 24 hours for a follow up visit to fix the pitch of the exhaust pipe. The only negative comment I have is that I did not know that a sump pump was needed to handle the condensate from the new boiler, and I did not like the location of the tubing tacked to the wall to take the condensate to the washing machine discharge pipe. I'm not sure there was an alternative location, but I would have preferred that we had a discussion about alternatives. Otherwise, everything went very well. I would highly recommend.

Less than I expected

Jamie had to come by a few times to get it figured out, but eventually did and got our heat working again before it got too cold. All for a fair price.

Not only did Jamie take my call after hours, but he was able to squeeze me in the very next day when our central A/C died in the middle of some hot hot weather. When he arrived on time for the scheduled appt, he quickly began troubleshooting the problem. Jamie was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous in all of my interactions with him. Over the course of the appt he traveled to and from the supply house to get the necessary parts needed to ensure my A/C would be up and running that very afternoon. We are happy and COOL thanks to Jamie's Heating and Cooling and I would not hesitate to call upon him again should the need arise.

iI will definitely use Jamie going forward, while at the same time hoping I have no need for quite some time!! He is responsive, prompt, professional and very reasonable in cost.  Jamie came the first day I called and came within one hour of my call.  He explained everything and the problem was with the blower motor.  He reserved one that same morning from the local supplier and we scheduled a time to install within a couple of days.  Having had other service providers with whom I was not really confident, I found that Jamie has instilled a sense of confidence that was lacking in the past.  Definitely my provider of choice going foward.

afterHe was punctual, pleasant, efficient and charged a fair price for the work he performed.  He was honest about the condition of my system and understood we were going to be putting the house on the market and suggested we should do an oil line upgrade.  I highly recommend him.  And  and have already emailed him to come back to do an oil line upgrade so that our system can be in compliance before we put it on the market.

We purchased a bank owned home and were unsure of the condition of our central air conditioning unit/system. Jamie arrived at the agreed upon time and quickly went to work. Jamie was courteous, prompt and professional. Provided excellent service and sound advice. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Jamie arrived promptly at 8am (the time the appointment was scheduled) to do a 20-point maintenance check.  Was very thorough and provided me with information regarding what I should monitor and explained functions of a number of components of the A/C.
I needed to call him back to look at a leak after the unit was running for approximately 40 minutes (issue that I had previously) and he promptly returned to inspect the source of the leak.  Repaired the leak at no charge.

Jamie was great.  He returned my call promptly and scheduled a time to come by the same day.  He very quickly and efficiently identified the problem, explained it to me, and solved it.  There is no doubt I will call him again to service both the central air and heating systems.  I also thought his price to be fair and reasonable.

Excellent service and very nice guy. We moved to a new house and needed someone to service and check our AC unit. The service was prompt, honest and thorough. Will definitely use Jamie's again!

Jamie did a great job. I had contacted him, and he got back to me within a day, and provided a quote a few days later. He was able to explain the cost and exactly what he would do. I had gotten several quotes prior, but none had explained any of the cost or what they would be doing exactly. He was here when he said, and finished quickly. He also did not try to oversell anything. So far everything has worked great and was exactly what we wanted. I will be sure to call him again if I need any other services in the future.

I found Jamie on Angie's List and he was punctual and professional at both the estimate appointment and service appointment. I purchased a home with original oiler boiler and the inspector suggested a tune up and oil line change. Jamie came for an estimate and gave a thorough inspection of the unit and echoed all of the inspectors findings. He didn't try to upsell me and he was honest with the condition of my old boiler. When he came to do the work, I was busy with other contractors so he let himself in the basement and got to work right away. I appreciated that. I intend to use Jamie to upkeep my oil tank and burner in the future.

I had a no heat call and needed a condensation pump installed.  Jamie got there during a stow storm within 3 hours and resolved that day.

Jamie did a great job, he called before hand, was prompt, found the problem quickly and fixed it, advised on future work that needed to be done, and even gave an estimated amount for that as well. Jamie also called after to check in and make sure
everything was working. I  highly recommend Jamie to in anyone in the area.

I can't say enough good things about Jamie's Heating & Cooling!  At 7am on the day of Blizzard Juno, while the blizzard was in full force, I got a call from one of my tenants telling me that she and her 2 kids had no heat in their apartment.  I called all my usual plumbers and many in the white pages but no one would come or even commit to come at some point on the same day because of the blizzard.  I literally called 20+ plumbers!  I got onto Angie's list and found Jamie.  He answered the phone promptly and agreed to help me out and now it is 12:30pm and the boiler is fixed!  He saved the day and didn't gouge me on the price either.  I HIGHLY recommend you use Jamie.  He is my new #1 plumber!
