We returned from vacation and turned the water on in the house (we always turn it off when we are gone for an extended time).  When my wife tried to use the kitchen sink, we heard the sound of rushing water and found a geiser in the basement shooting out of a big hole in an old pipe.  When I told Whitter it was an emergency (we couldn't use the water), Robert Whittier arrived in less than an hour, located and repaired the leak in less than an hour, and we got a bill today for $92.  This is the second time they have helped us out.  They always arrive promptly, do consistently excellent work, and charge very reasonable rates.  I would recommend them to anyone.

They were great.  They came after two other plumbers never returned my calls.  He located the leak behind some sheet rock and repaired it quickly.  When my wife mentioned that we also heard some gurgling in one of the pipes, he offered to check out the problem.  He also located the blocked pipe in the basement and unclogged it.  We would definitely use this company again and recommend it to friends and neighbors.

They installed a geothermal hot water heater and did a fine job!

I have used them a couple times within this past year. They also did work in our other home. I had a piece fail and they came out to replace it with a better materical same day at no charge to us, they are very responsive and prompt. The owner has been doing this for many years, and he is a good man.

I am very happy with them. They are prompt and the price is reasonable. The guy that comes out to do the estimates has really good suggestions. The guys who come out and do the work is very professional to work with.

He did a very neat job. I've known Bruce for several years and watched his business expand. His assistant was very helpful as well. He does tend to be on the high side for price, but it's worth it. He does stands behind his work as well. I plan to have him out to my home again to install my fixtures.

Really smooth - we were proactive and called often to touch base and stay on top of scheduling - but they were always polite and professional - great crew - great experience from start to finish. Recommend highly!!

The owner is a very nice man and was responsive to my concerns. However, the price for having the pump installed seems high. It's my own fault for not checking around, but in the end they charged about $700 for labor just to dig the hole in the basement. They did have to go through concrete but it seemed excessive to pay two guys (one of whom made $77 an hour) just to dig the hole. The major problem I had was that once they dug the hole, they dumped all the debris in the woods next to my house. I wasn't home and when I discovered it, I called the owner and though he was very nice and said they would come and pick it up (and they did), he said it was not unusual for them to do this. I can't believe this is standard practice. They also didn't leave any kind of manual for the sump pump and he said it didn't come with one. The previous summer, they had come out for an estimate, and coincidentally, I had a plumbing emergency shortly after that. They responded immediately, which was great. So, a mixed bag overall.

The plumbing part of the project went very well. Whittier came and gave a rough estimate and looked at what needed to be done. The actual work was done in much less time (since I was there to help). Everyone was very professional.

I have a condition called Mutli Chemical Sensitivity and they do everything possible to help.
