WE are a family owned business, started in 1929 by my great grandfather that has been held by the Brodeur family since. My brother and I are the fourth generations to operate the business.

The techs arrived, checked a few things with the vent and advised against using the kind of filter I have been using. They went outside to the unit and noticed the reason it wasn't as cold was just because it needed more coolant. I know some people who might read this will say "no kidding" but I'm mechanically illiterate, so I need to usually pay someone once to learn my lesson and figure it out on my own.
To that end, for a simple service, the price was fair and the techs were very professional. Sometimes in situations like mine where I'm not certain with what I am dealing with, those are times when people can be taken advantage of. The techs said the unit was in perfect order, working well, just needed the coolant. That's good peace of mind to have, knowing a company just does what needs to be done and doesn't mislead a customer into spending more money unnecessarily. I will definitely call Brodeur and Sons again if I need work done in this area.
