Description of Work: Repaired and cleaned lawn mower. A part had broken on our lawn mower so we took it to Needham Garden Center. We had previously purchased and had mowers serviced there and were always very satisfied with the work and price. We were told that it would take about a week, but received a phone call just three days later that our mower was all fixed. Folks who work there are always very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE KEEN TO PLEASE WHEN PROBLEMS AROSE; BUT AFTER THE FIRST REPAIR FAILED, THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH A NEW CARBURETOR WITHOUT DISCUSSING WITH ME FIRST. WHEN I REPORTED IT STILL LEAKED, THE GUY HAD TROUBLE BELIEVING IT AND ARGUED WITH ME OVER THE PHONE ABOUT WHERE THE LEAK WAS OCCURRING, PROBABLY BECAUSE HE DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO BE CAUSED BY THEIR MISTAKE! SO, IS MY FIRST REPORT OR THIS REPORT MORE INDICATIVE OF THIS COMPANY?
Description of Work: I MADE THE 1ST REPORT FOR THIS COMPANY, SNOW-BLOWER TUNE UP AND GAS-LEAK REPAIR. THIS IS A FOLLOW-UP: 2ND SNOW STORM, GAS LEAKED RETURNED; THEY REPLACED CARB. STILL LEAKED. THEY KEPT FOR OBSERVATION 1 WEEK & FOUND DAMAGED FUEL FITTING. FIXED AT NO CHARGE. INDICATED IT MAY HAVE BEEN THEIR FAULT.

 + -1 morePRICE INCLUDED $24 FOR PICKUP AND DELIVERY. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK AND RETURNED THE SNOWBLOWER WAY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE (1 DAY INSTEAD OF 1 WEEK). THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. SINCE THEN, WE HAD A SNOW STORM AND I CAN SAY THAT THE GAS LEAK IS FIXED AND THE MACHINE IS WORKING WELL.
Description of Work: SNOWBLOWER INSPECTION AND TUNE UP (A SINGLE STAGE TORO), PLUS PICKUP AND DELIVERY. I REPORTED A GAS LEAK, AND ASKED THEM TO CHECK THE MUFFLER (I THOUGHT A PART MIGHT BE MISSING). THEIR REPORT: MUFFLER IS OK, BELT OK, REPLACED SCRAPER BAR AND SPARK PLUG, CLEANED CARBURETOR, AND DID TUNEUP. THEY ALSO REPLACED 1 OR MORE GASKETS, WHICH SEEMED TO ADDRESS THE GAS LEAK.
