I have been using them for years. Now it is called Davey Tree Service. They are very knowledgeable. They do what they say they are going to do.

Overall, the company provided a professional service. Setting up the estimate was easy. Scheduling time to have the work done took several phone calls - the company called to reschedule several times before the work was done. The person who did the estimate was not present on the day the work was done; so, I wanted to be present when the work was done to describe what I wanted. The staff who did the work very professional. They did a good job cleaning up after they finished.

They are very good. I haven't used anybody else for years because I have been satisfied. I will definitely continue to use them.

They are excellent. They are very knowledgeable people. They have expertise in plants and tree care. They know what they are doing. They are really expensive but they are worth it.

They responded to my call quickly and came over soon after. David was extremely helpful in describing the situation as he saw it and discussing alternatives. In the end, it wasn't a good fit for what they do, but I was impressed with the interaction.

They are great. I had them out many times over the years, and every time they had been been great. They are very prompt. Their prices are reasonable, maybe a little on the higher side; but it is not bad. The price is worth for what they do. I will give them B on price, but A on everything else. They always return my call. They always show up when they say they are going to. I have already contacted them to chip out the stump.

They are a nursery company that used to do a two-year treatment for us. We would not use them again. We are busy looking for another arborist to take care of our yard.

They were great. I spent a little over $2000. They will come out and tell me honestly if a particular tree is fine or not. They are very good about that. They also give an honest estimate. In the past, when I had called them to check on a tree that was close to my house, they told me that there was no problem with it. It was losing its leaves because it was hot. They came out for nothing, but they still did come out. They were wonderful when it came to professionalism and cleanup. Other than a little sawdust, I did not even know they had worked for me. I will use them again in the future if required.

They have the most arborists on staff of anyone around. They are pricey, but they are very professional and do good work.

All the garden installation and maintenance projects I've worked with them on went well. And if anything went wrong, they were quick to respond and adjust things as needed.

I have used Hartney Greymont for 7 years and have never - ever - been disappointed. Their customer service is exceptional. Everyone who works for them has always been professional, prompt, polite, experienced and efficient. They may not be the lowest bid but they are fairly priced because they do exactly what you need or want them to do, they clean up, and they go. Their arborists have always been eager to help with any problem that I have. They are honest and have told me when I should not bother doing something - saving me money and time. I recommend them with complete confidence.

I use them on a regular basis and they are great. They are just very attentive. The guy who does the job is professional. He’s incredibly knowledgeable. They were acquired by another company but I’m assuming it’s different. I would use their services again in the future.

Everything has been great. I have been working with them for years. The office staff is wonderful to deal with and very professional. If you want top service go to this company. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have been using them for several years and have a contract with them. They are very professional and care for the trees. They do not overdo things and are very competitive. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They were probably the most knowledgeable about the kind of work that I wanted done. I already have an estimate on file; they owe me a second estimate, and I have not gotten it yet. Their estimated price of $8000 is about average. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were overpriced so I discontinued using them. Their service was good but I will not use them in the future.

They were expensive, but Hartney Greymont did a fantastic job overall. They came early in the morning before I needed to leave for work to meet with me to review what we wanted done, provided recommendations, and sent us a comprehensive itemized quote so we could choose what we wanted to do. They did the job in three steps - tree removal, new trees, and pruning. Everything was done with high quality. The only thing I would have liked is clearer guidance and documentation on how to care for our new trees. The watering instructions were pretty vague.

I love them, they're fantastic. The guy that does the lawn service has incredible expertise and the lawn's look amazing. He can figure out a problem in a flash. Unlike most of these guys that poor chemicals on your yard. He comes with an evaluation and he will see what the problem is first. Which is what I like about him. So he doesn't do stuff that isn't needed. They're a little expensive compared to other people. The other people aren't nearly as good as him in terms of his service. I've used them for 2 years now and I will continue to use them.

Davey and Hartney Greymont are one now. Before the merger they never responded to my calls. It used to take them forever to respond. After the merger everything has been fine. I went over to Davey once, and a couple of months later I got a letter saying that they were the same company now. The quality of their work is excellent. I don't shop around for prices or look for others if I find a company that is responsive and does good work. I am very satisfied with them. There is nothing that I dislike about them. I would definitely use them again.

We have a lot of very mature land. We went with them initially because of their reputation. You could find cheaper, but it would be cheaper work. They are honest about what they can and can't do. They are very willing to listen to what I want. They will do it, and if they have any questions then they will ask. They don't just go in and chop.

They are one-stop shopping for tree and yard maintenance. They are expectationally good.

I have used Hartney for a number of years, and as Horticulturist, I have used them with my clients. From the head of the company to the people who come on the jobs, they are by far the most knowledgeable people around. They take care of the details that most companies miss because the people doing the work don't have the knowledge of the person selling the work. I let them tell me what should be done since they are truly experts in trees. Their lawn group also does a thorough, excellent job. They often cost a little more, but you are paying for better, more consistent work by more knowledgeable people. My neighbor had a badly damaged cherry tree this year by Winter Moth because their tree company forgot to spray it because the applicator didn't know it was effected by the moth. You absolutely get what you pay for with these guys.

I and my daughter, who was managing the work, decided on another provider who, we calculated, was less expensive. The choice was partly one of 'chemistry' as my daughter, who managed the project, felt more comfortable with the chosen provider and found him willing to negotiate price and clarify the details of what exactly would be done and why proposals differed in cost. Neither I, nor my daughter, had any problems at all with Hartney Graymont. The choice of another provider was a slim one, and I'm sure Hartney Graymont would have done a fine job.

Upon contacting, got quick response and estimate from the company. Given that the houses are close together and neighbors tree was to be pruned, needed to get written ok from neighbor. Submitted to company and then it took quite a few weeks before the pruning was scheduled. Had expected (based on conversations with the company) it to be done several weeks earlier. No communication from company so had to follow up several times. Got vmail on Monday late that pruning would take place Tuesday. Crew was efficient, friendly, and did clean up the patio. I wish they would have also gotten the leaves out of the gutters (many of which along with small branches) were the result of their work. Trees look great, however and I am pleased. Price was the highest of 3 companies from whom I'd received estimates but knowledge seemed high and referrals were great.
