It was a good experience. They're knowledgeable, friendly.

Mr. Sparky sent a young electrician who clearly was not qualified to diagnose or repair the problem. Charged $49 to walk in the door, looked ineffectually at the problem, and said we needed a $365 circuit evaluation. We paid the walk-in fee and found another electrician who quickly found and repaired the problem for $150. Obviously a waste of the walk-in fee but thankfully we moved on to someone more qualified.

It is going well.

I loved their service, and would recommend this company to anyone looking for professional electrical work. I got their service for my parents. Their house was in grave danger of a house fire, and the electrical wiring in the house was super old. As a daughter, I was really stressed out about their situation, and found Mr. Sparky right in the neck of time. They're super professional and knowledgeable.

The service turned out perfect. We had them do other work, and so we paid additional charges. They were very nice, cordial and accommodating.

I had a dead circuit, but the circuit breaker wasn't the culprit. So the job was to diagnose and fix the circuit. The problem turned to be a burned out wire where it connected to the neutral bus inside the electrical panel. They were very polite and professional and on-time and made a big deal of their service standards.
Unfortunately, they are quite expensive.  All they tell you at the time of the call is that the call itself costs $59. Once they come and talk to you about the problem, they show you their price list, which up front and not by the hour.  According to the price list, diagnosing a single circuit is $199 on top of the price of the call, so that's what they go by. It didn't actually take that long -- the electrician spent more time doing paperwork, explaining their pricing structure, and upselling trying to get me to join their maintenance plan. $258 seems like way too much.

Ed Barnum from Mister Sparky – Needham was very thorough.  I found a lot of problems and Ed was able to fix problems that other electricians could not.  He did a very competent job, it was a good price, and he arrived on time.  He had all the things one would look for in a contractor.

I am installing a sink in my laundry closet. To make room, I am moving my washer to where the dryer was and stacking the dryer on top of the washer. I needed to add a new outlet behind the washer. I called Mister Sparky late Monday afternoon and Ed the electrician could come Wednesday morning to do the work. I also asked to install a fluorescent light in my garage. I had previously discussed the garage light with the electrician. When Ed came, he had remembered our previous discussion and brought what he thought I would want for the garage light. The 8ft 4 lamp fixture he brought was exactly what I wanted. Everything was excellent.

I like them a lot. They always send the same person and I love that. I like the guy that they send. He is a nice guy and they are very, very clean. I like that things are done right the first time.

He was really friendly. He was respectful and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up really well after himself. He explained how everything worked and answered all of my questions. The customer service was excellent. They also did a great job showing up on time.

PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME, SEARCHED OUT AN OLD PART OF A FAN AND SOME STRIPPING. NOT CHEAP EXCELLENT.

THEY WERE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHER CONTRACTORS I PRICED BUT THEY USED HIGH QUALITY PARTS, WORKED AROUND MY DIFFICULT SCHEDULE, AND DID A TRULY EXCELLENT JOB. IT WAS WORTH A LITTLE EXTRA TO GET THE HIGH QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM.

WE FELT THAT THEY WERE QUITE SLOW, AND SINCE THEY CHARGED BY THE HOUR, WE FELT THAT WE HAD LITTLE TO NO CONTROL OVER THE TOTAL EXPENSE FOR OUR JOBS. THEY SEEMED TO HAVE A GOOD DEAL OF DIFFICULTY WITH OUR 1955 HOUSE, WHICH THEY CONSIDERED TO LEAD TO MANY PROBLEMS
