I thought they were a little high but they did give her a physical. Quality is great. They took us right away when the dog had ear wax and we didn't know what it was. They treat my pet well. They were very nice and greeted us and the pet. Very affectionate toward our pet.

They are very very compassionate. They interact with the animals wonderfully. They are so in tuned with the animals they treat them like people.

The work was fine. They change doctors regularly and seem to be more interesting in driving up their prices more than doing the actual pet services. I advise that they should spend more time paying attention to the history of the animal and the issues, and a little less time ordering test after test. I would use them again.

Highland Animal Hospital contacted me prior to bringing my cat there. The caretakers were attentive to the various problems she has and her medications. They have a company website which allows owners to follow progress on their animals. I was so impressed that I am switching vets from my previous facility which had served all my cats over the years.

I trust them and the head vet, Dr. Giles, is a personal friend. He saved my kitten's life once. They are a half hour away but I don't mind driving the distance. I am very loyal to them because I have a great deal of trust in their care. I also see Dr. Scott and she is very good with my cats too

We loved the staff, the facility and the convenience. Everyone was extremely friendly and made our dog (and us) feel welcomed. Everyone we encountered was professional and curteous. I would recomment this practice to anyone looking for a vet.

I feel that their pricing is reasonable. They have excellent veterinarians. The treatment from the vets are excellent. We have both a cat and a dog. They've also treated one of our previous pets that had cancer. They do a marvelous job but they are not cheap. We've used them for the last maybe 20 years. There is follow up after the treatment which is timely. There is a lot of care. There is true affection to the animal. It's excellent.

Highland Animal Hospital is a large practice, although you have one assigned vet, if you are in a hurry, somebody else can see you. It is clean, well run, people at the front office know what they are doing as much as the vets and vet techs know what they are doing. I also like to use their boarding facility. I don't like that they are not as speedy as can be, I have to wait every time I go there.

My dog seems very happy to go the the vet, which is very reassuring. He has boarded there twice and seems very happy when we pick him up. They provide play time with the other dogs, and he gets outside time, which is great. Everything is very neat and clean, which I appreciate. And the prices are very reasonable for the Metrowest area. We will definitely continue to use for both veterinary and kennel needs.

They are very nice people. They are very supportive and helpful. If I have a problem I can call anybody and ask anybody and they all have suggestions.

When I Purchased my dog she came with a "coupon" for a couple of dollars off of getting her spayed. We dropped her off and had the procedure done. Upon picking her up we noticed that the stitching seemed a little odd, as none of us are in any sort of medical field we assumed it was okay. The stitches took about three times as long as we were told would to dissolve. Since she was a puppy we also had issues with continuous ear infections. They were pretty good in giving us more medication than necessary so that they could be treated when they flare up without requiring a re-examination. My trouble with this organization is that at about 4 years of age my dog had started to scratch herself raw. It was clearly infected, her chest wounds, eyes and nose all being covered in a yellow substance. They gave her steroid injections and pills a number of times instead of figuring out what was causing the problems. After about 10 visits i finally brought her to a second vet where they referred me to a specialist. The specialist rubbed her skin with some slides and looked at them under a microscope to determine that the issue was a yeast infection(same as in her ears). To me it is not ethical to have a business (especially medical) treat the symptoms instead of the illness. I requested several times for an owner or at the very least an office manager to call me so that i could at least voice my concerns but to no avail. I would not suggest bringing your loved ones here. MAYBE for annual examinations if you live in the area.

I'd found a cat that I wanted to adopt, and the shelter vet said he'd need dental work. Before finalizing the adoption, I took the cat to Highland Animal Hospital for a second opinion and estimate. Dr. Shepherd scheduled us promptly, examined the cat thoroughly, and gave advice that was clear and professional. The dental problem required surgery, and the cat was healthy otherwise. The estimate was higher than the shelter vet had suggested, so I called around and found that Highland's prices were not low but competitive. (The approximate $820 I paid included both the pre-adoption consultation and the operation itself.) The surgery was again scheduled promptly and it went smoothly. I was even given a written report with before-and-after pictures of my cat's mouth!--and while its marketing value was not lost on me, I also very much appreciate the degree of communication that Highland provides about your animal's health status and care. I have continued to use Highland for routine veterinary care. The hospital is clean, orderly, and well-staffed, and they sell prescription foods and other pet products. They recommend two exams a year even for young, healthy animals, so things can get pricey, but they are willing to work with clients who need to cut back on visits to save money. They have evening and weekend hours. They are located on a winding back road which can be hard to find at first, but I've found it to be worth the trip.

They have a large practice and are very nice. They have a nice cat hotel to board my cat. When I had the water break in my house, the cat lived there for a couple of weeks. I had them give the cat a full treatment including every possible kind of shot and checkup, x-rays, vaccines, teeth cleaning, nail trimming, blood tests and everything they could possibly think of. The price for that was about $300; another provider that I have used would have charged me $600 for the same kind of service. I don't know if the boarding cost was included though. I am a busy woman and a single parent, so I don't have a whole lot of time, and it was nice that they handled everything. They are reasonably priced, but again, they are a little on the pricey side. They are very professional and have got a nice setup. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
