Did the job but not timely

I called fixit guy to receive a quote for repair of my washer dryer. They sent a technician, who ended up charging me $150 dollars and never followed up to do the repairs or order parts, even though I attempted to contact them several times. Seems really bad for business in the long run to be charging diagnostic fees and then not following up to do the work. Don't use this company unless you want to be charged a steep diagnostic fee and then end up having to call someone else to get the job done.

The company scheduled the repair within a day of calling. I was given a four hour window. The technician showed within that window and was able to diagnose and repair the issue within 15-20 minutes. He gave me tips on how to maintain the appliance. The Service call cost was more than competitive (half of their closest competitor). I highly recommend this local business!

I own an Italian Ilve oven, an unusual brand in the Northeast. Apparently the importer of this brand had changed and the place I bought it no longer offered repair. They finally gave me a number to call at the new distributor to find repair service. After 9 months with no working oven, I found the solution with Fix It Guy! They identified the model and necessary part, ordered it, and made the repair within a week and a half. What a relief. I highly recommend them.

punctual, got the job quickly and efficiently with a friendly staff. The first appointment was a no-show and their office didn't have a record of it. But, to their credit, when I called to rebook, the staff was friendly and apologetic.

3 no call no show, 1 no show with call hours later, 5 messages with no call back. Credit card was on file so I could not call anyone else without fear of being over-charded. I had my card compromised so I got new on and it took 3 weeks for someone in the office to call looking for payment. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I called for a washer repair person--could they come this week? They had a knowledgeable tech at my house within... wait for it... TWENTY-FOUR MINUTES. I was floored. Prior to calilng Fix It Guy I had called 3-4 local places and no one could come until either this Saturday or next Monday afternoon. The guy was here about 32-38 minutes and explained it was the brain board in my <5 year old Kenmore Series 600 washer. The brain board is the... well, brain and buying any kind of brain isn't going to be cheap. The board was roughly $180 and we just felt it was better to buy a new one versus fixing this one. We would ABSOLUTELY use these guys again! Fast, VERY professional (outfitted to near Biosafety Level 4 gear--gloves, face mask, booties, etc.) and explainedit where we had options and he put ZERO PRESSURE on us. His boss called about 10-15 minutes later to see if they could help us select a washer, explain anything if we had any confusion. Joe was the guy who came; Kevin is the guy who coordinated the repairperson to get here and so forth. Absolutely top notch professionalism--you won't be sorry.

I called Fix it Guy and left a message. Kevin called me back immediately even though it was 7:30pm. He was very courteous and professional. I explained the problem I was having with my washing machine. He said he would send someone out in the morning between 8:00-10:00am. True to his word his repairman Joe arrived before 10:00am. Joe was also very courteous & professional. He explained the issue to me & was able to fix the issue right away. Excellent customer service!!!

I called them, and they came out right away. The diagnosed the problem quickly, and they did a great job.
