Company sent out representative to give estimate price in a timely fashion. The price was on the high end, but I had to move on the project. I was suppose to receive a confirmation call on Fri. 7/13 and this did not happen. Instead, not hearing anythng,I called early on Mon. morning and was assured that someone would be there between 8 and 8:30---but no one showed. I then received a call saying there was a mix up and to expect the truck and workers around 1:00. They came, did the job,and left, but didn't clean up the area in as thorough a manner as is the practice of most professionals in that industry.

John came to the house within 24 hours of the call, gave a reasonable price and sent an estimate by email. I did get other quotes, with one $1000 higher, and others encouraging me to remove a second tree (for ($1300 more) since "the crane was there" but for no structural reason. They came within two weeks from the signing of the contract and arrived with a crew of 5 men, the crane and a chipper machine/truck. The tree was removed very skillfully and Steve managed the crane expertly in tight quarters. The crew trimmed the trees to my satisfaction and the whole job was done in about 5 hours. Considering the manpower, crane and time, the price was very fair. They cleaned up all of the branches and left once I was satisfied with everything. I would rehire them again and recommend them to others.

Great, professional service at good price. Scheduled visit for quote on just one day notice. John arrived on time, ably answered all questions, and gave a highly competitive quote on the spot. Tree removal and cleanup was done well and on time later that week. They even offered to adjust their days' schedule to complete the work prior to a predicted storm if needed.

I had 3 people quote. The high quote was $1100, the next one was $900, and Boston Tree was $500. I was suspect at first, but they had a licensed Arborist on staff. Of the 3 that quoted, Boston Tree was the only one that actually sent someone to discuss the details with me. The others were drive-by. We went through in detail what had to be done and he gave me a written quote right there. They coordinated when they would come. On cutting day, they pulled up with a wood-mulching truck, and 3 guys. The climber got to work climbing my tree and cutting. I watched and made a couple of on-the-spot requests that he obliged. I couldn't believe how much work they did for $500. But the tree is beautiful. My neighbor is a landscape architect and said he thought they did a great job and wanted their number.

Promptly came for estimate and showed up as scheduled to do the work. They needed to use the neighbor's driveway to access our back yard and they were respectful of our neighbor's property. All work was done as specified and as requested.

They came promptly for the estimate. They were very straight forward. Their price was very fair. It was a complicated situation and they were very willing to compromise with us. They also did a very good job on the work itself.
