They were excellent.

Most recently, as with every visit, everything went very well. They arrived on time, made the repair, and charged a fair price. While I do not have all the invoices in front of me now, each of the jobs listed cost between $100 and $250. Only once did I have to call them about a problem [the dishwasher drain pipe was not flowing into the new garbage disposer] and they returned right away and sorted that out. We have used their services since we moved to our current home 7 years ago, and they are always extremely professional, punctual, and reliable. They also take the time to explain exactly how they plan to perform the work, which many service providers do not.

The overall story on how I came to use AJ Carey is that when my son was barely a year old the carbon monoxide detector went off due to shoddy workmanship on the installation of my gas burner and improper installation of combustion exhaust venting. I looked through the local yellow pages and found what looked to be the most qualified contractor. AJ Carey is a family owned, father and son business, who as it turned out, WAS the best contractor for the job. That was almost 10 years ago. I have used AJ Carey Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning exclusively in my home from Water Tank replacement, Heating maintenance (including yearly preventative maintenance), Toilet installation and repair, general repairs to copper piping and valves and anything that would require me to call a plumber. I have also used AJ Carey for my residential income properties in Needham and Weston. They replaced an oil tank and burner with a high-efficiency gas (forced hot air) heating system approximately 6 years ago. I refer AJ Carey to anyone and everyone I know who requires service from a plumber. I tell each of my friends or family that I am referring that they might find a plumber who is less expensive but you will not find anyone who is as knowledgeable, experienced, punctual, diligent, or professional.
