The company responded immediately to my voicemail.  Confirmed a date and time and were punctual.
I have a wool runner on my staircase and my dog had chewed through the carpet on 2 steps.  The pattern had to be matched and  Jim did a great job!  He was even nice to my dog!  LOL!

Company was responsive and inexpensive, showed up on time, and did a nice job. Glad I found them, as there are not a lot of contractors willing to take small jobs like this. I'd use them again without reservation.

Amazing work.  Highly recommend if you need  your carpet repaired for any reason.  We had water damage over the winter and had to cut out a significant piece of carpet.  We thought we were going to have to replace the entire second floor since the carpet had been discontinued.  We had a piece left over from the original installation and Jim was able to install it.  Other than a slight color difference on the old vs. the new carpet you cannot tell that the carpet was replaced.  Quite honestly if you didn't know it was replaced you wouldn't notice it at all.   Jim was prompt in returning my calls, was able to come out to give me an estimate fairly quickly.  He showed up on time for the estimate and the day of the job.  Very professional, did a wonderful job.  Very reasonable price for the amount of work that he did.

We are absolutely delighted with Jim's work. We had about a 6and quot; x 12and quot; area of carpet right in the middle of the room with a bleach stain on it. Jim took a remnant we had and put in a patch so well that you cannot tell any repair was even made. And in another room, where there was two tears in a carpet that we had no leftover remnant of, he took a small piece from a corner inside a closet -- where you would never even notice it -- and used it to repair the two tears in the main room. And again, you can't even tell there was a repair done. It looks perfect. We're very pleased with it, and recommend Jim very highly.

Jim repaired a large ripple in the wall to wall carpet that was the result of stretching from a previous carpet cleaning by another company. We have a large entertainment center on the carpet that could not be moved, but Jim cut around it and it is not visible at all. There was a small area that needed to be pieced and he did that seamlessly. You cannot tell it was done.
We have used Jim in the past and find him and his work to be impeccable and professional.
We can recommend him very highly.

Jim went the extra mile by cleaning up and even vacuuming the whole room. He let the room spotless. The carpet no longer has a wrinkle in it.

Jim was able to give me a Saturday appointment, a big plus. He arrived on time and did a walk-through, identifying trouble spots, before bringing in his equipment. Because a large, heavy entertainment unit with big-screen TV (purchased from the prior owner) which occupied a nook in the living room could not be moved, he explained that to properly stretch the rest of the carpet he would have to separate the carpet under the unit from that in the rest of the space, and this separation would show if the unit were ever moved in the future. He made sure I understood the pros and cons; I chose to let him go ahead and cut the carpet in front of the unit, and I don't regret that decision. The living room was complicated and time consuming because of having to work around floor vents and a fireplace hearth, but the final result is terrific. The 12-year-old carpet looks almost brand new. Similar great results in the upstairs hall and bedroom area. Cost of $300 is very reasonable, I think, considering the time spent (5 hours), the amount of equipment required, and the Saturday appointment time.

We called Jim after the seller/installer of our carpeting would not stand behind their work and other carpet companies seemed to do this kind of repair as a sideline or made an incredibly big deal of it (such as hiring a moving company for the furniture!). This is Jim's specialty, and you can tell. He gave us an hourly rate over the phone, then came and estimated how much time it would take. He explained the problem and the process for fixing it. We set a date and he was prompt again, and went right to work. He had no trouble dealing with the furniture himself, using sliders. It took him a bit less time (a fraction of an hour) than he had estimated, and he reduced/prorated the bill accordingly (imagine!). The carpets look fine now. Jim was friendly, efficient, and professional. We were very satisfied and would use him again.

Jim is very professional and knows his job. Our carpets were badly wrinkled. Although our house is only ten years old it was so bad that we had already replaced the flooring in two rooms, and now we wish that we had done these other rooms earlier instead of waiting until we were ready to sell our house. He did a great job and he is a really nice guy.

Called Jim and explained the situation with our wall to wall carpeting in our upstairs bedrooms and hallway. He said that was something he could take care of and we made an appointment for the following week. Jim was right on time friendly and professional. The damaged section was in the doorway from the bedroom to the hall, approx 5x10 inches right were the seam is between the two rooms. The carpeting was installed 12 years earlier by the prior owner and there was no left over carpeting to replace the damaged section. So Jim cut out a section of carpeting from the back of our closet that no one sees and stiched in the good carpeting in the doorway and the damaged carpeting he installed into the back of the closet. Approx 2 hours or so in time. He did a great job!! Quality work and I thought his pricing was excellent. I would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to others.

I called Jim and he called me back right away, he gave his hourly rate and advised that I would need to remove most of the furniture from the room. He offered to remove the furniture but my husband and I removed it ourselfs (only took 1 hour) so don't let that make you not have the job done. He advised that we should buy carpet sliders to help move the furniture, those were the best things we bought....made the moving super easy (didn't even have to move the drawers in dressers). Carpet sliders only cost $9 per 4 pieces.

Jim was very punctual, and got to work right away. He literally pulled up all the carpet and reattached it, he had all the tools needed and was actually able to do it in les time then originally quoted.

The rooms and hallway look amazing, was the best decision I made. For $250 it looks like we got brand new carpet, we are very happy with the job Jim did and will defiantly use him again for any other carpet projects. I highly recommend Wall to Wall Carpet Repair

I called Jim on Tuesday, and he returned my call that same day. We discussed over the phone, and he said he would come do the work on the following Friday at 9 a.m., and requested that we empty out the room as much as possible. Jim showed up on Friday morning just as scheduled and looked over the room. I hadn't moved my large China cabinet, sofa, or TV, because there was no room to move it with my other furniture, but at Jim's request we did move the three large pieces to the corner where the china cabinet was, which freed up the rest of the room.

Jim stretched the carpet in one direction, then stretched it in the other direction. The entire job took approximately 3.5 hours. He trimmed the rug edges to fit, and in one case had to piece one section due to the stretching. I can't visibly see where he pieced it. Jim did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone. There was some clean up involved, picking up rug yarn pieces, which was minor, and vacuuming. But once it was done and I put my furniture back, it looked awesome.

I decided it was time to repaint my sons room. The carpet needed repair as well so as I would have the room empty to paint , it was the perfect time to have the carpet fixed. I called Mr Hesnan in the morning after finding him on Angie's list. I explained the problem and that I needed to get it done ASAP so I could get my son back in his room. He was willing to come at the end of the day after his last apointment and do my job. The carpet looks great and the service was excellent.

Prompt for both quotation and work. Work was was within quotation provided. Did a very neat and tidy job and was able to reuse all carpet and underlay which meant we did not have to purchase additional. Would recommend and use again.

Contacted Jim at Wall to Wall Carpet Repair and he came out that same day to give an estimate. He told us that the carpet itself was in good condition, but it definitely needed to be stretched. He would be able to complete the job in a day, and gave us his hourly rate. When he came to do the job, he was able to get right to work as we had cleared a couple rooms for him to start in while we moved furniture in other rooms. In all, we had five rooms and a hallway done. Jim did a fantastic job. He was very friendly and professional. It's amazing what a difference using the proper tools make. It looks like we had new carpeting installed and we won't have to worry about a recurrence of the dreaded bumps!

Jim Hesnan returned my phone calls on the same day. He arrived exactly on time. He had estimated it would be 7-8 hours of work but was able to finish in 6 hours. All the work was of high quality and the area where he added a piece of carpet is virtually invisible.

He was recommended by a carpet store. I thought he was a bit expensive but his work was superb. He came to give an estimate in person. He charged by the hour. He spent three hours. It was worth it for me. He made a dramatic improvement. He was pleasant and neat and came on time.

Jim was 10 minutes late, but it was snowing very hard and the roads were slow going. He did a fabulous job on the carpet--I cannot see where the burn was. He is very personable, pleasant, and neat.
