Have to say that Mike and Dave are the best. They have been my plumbers over the years for scheduled services and have been the best both in price and service.

Last February we went to Florida. We left our water and heat on as a neighbor was looking in on the house for us. Due to an extreme change in weather patterns and in the weather forecast, the predicted, small snowstorm was developing into a blizzard. There was a strong possibility of the loss of power which meant loss of heat and frozen pipes while we were away. We tried to make reservations to return home, but all flights and trains were cancelled.

I called Mike and explained our situation. He was great. He got over to our house a few hours before the blizzard hit. He really saved our house as we did lose power. I cannot thank him enough.

I can't say enough about Mike & Dave. They do great work and will always go the extra mile.

Mike and Dave are honestly the most intelligent, thorough and problem-solving heating contractors I've met (and I have worked with many through years in real estate as well as on my own home). We had an incredibly difficult situation as a previous contractor had replaced our steam boiler with a new boiler. As we learned the hard way, you CANNOT allow anyone who is not an EXPERT in steam heat to touch your system. Over 6 months of trying, the previous contractor could not figure out the system. Calling The Suburban Plumbing Group was the best thing we have done - they took a look at the system and immediately knew what the issues were and how to repair them. We've now read books about steam (Mike and Dave provided a great one which really allowed us to understand it in less technical terms) but the misallignment or movement of a pipe can change the whole system's operation. They helped guide us through the options and helped literally repipe the whole boiler room setup, creating a system that works great. Then they were able to successfully look some zones and do things that our other contractor described as and quot;impossibleand quot; (the company that makes the boiler told us that what they did was definitely possible, but needed someone who knew steam!) Mike and Dave are everything you want in a heating contractor - they do what they say, on time, on budget, clean and correct. Their prices are more than fair given the years of experience they have and their ability to get the job done perfectly the first time. We have recommended them to friends and would do so again without hesitation.

Contractor provided a very detailed quote that broke down the job and indicated exactly the work that was going to be performed. The new boiler was properly and carefully sized. There's a lot of things that need to be done correctly for a new steam boiler. What I liked most about Mike and David was their credibility: you got the sense that they were straight with you, knew what that were doing, and were going to do the job right.

Mike responded promptly and did the job. Cost of the service for his visit was $175. After discussion with my friends, I came to know that cost is higher considering the services performed.

They are pretty good. They came out at relatively short notice and did a pretty decent job. Price wise they were not cheap.

They were very good and we liked them. They did the work for a good price; they were punctual and on the whole nice people.

In all cases, the plumber checked in advance for my availability and arrived on the agreed time. They were prepared with necessary parts or had them within a day. In all cases, the plumber showed what had caused the problem and what had to be done--with options for repair if necessary. The plumber was prepared and polite and respectful of my home. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They did a great job in a pinch for us! Our kitchen faucet was spewing water everywhere and we weren't sure what to do. Sent Mike pictures of the faucet and he was able to tell us exactly what was wrong, how much it would cost to fix, and what to look for when buying a new faucet. The next day they came out and installed for us... really great and conscientious. Would definitely use again!

Quickly determined the fawcetts were just loose and charged 1/2 price of a full visit. Excellent service, professional, would definitely use again!!

I've used them a lot. They are high priced but they are really conscientious and get the job done no matter what the problem is. I use them because I need people that are very, very reliable. My family members and I have probably used him at least 20 times in the last 3 years. You don't have to watch them. They are reliable. I once had a flood on a Sunday night when the Patriot game was on and they had a truck here within 15 minutes. The only thing is that they are 20 percent higher. They are highly trustworthy and highly knowledgeable.

He is really responsive and if you call him he will gt right back with you. He is very polite and professional. He has a truck with supplies so you really do not need to wait for a return visit since he will more than likely have the part with him.

I will not use anyone else because they are 100% reliable and reachable. They are available at all times. They will do the job somehow or the other unlike other companies who complain about not getting the necessary parts. The owner used to be a part owner of a major oil service company so he has license not only for plumbing but also for oil burners, heating systems and radiant heat. He has additional license for air conditioning work. He does not give any stories but just does the work that I need. The only disadvantage is that he charges a lot per hour but I cannot get someone who is as knowledgeable and efficient as he is. I am one of his loyal customers who will pay him for the services he provides. I cannot get anyone for any price who can work like him.

Mike showed up right on time and was very professional. He used a good process to diagnose the source of the leak to bad tile and grout. He did find some leaking faucets and fixed them in the process as well. He was very helpful and had lots of good insight into things we need to do to maintain our plumbing.
