THE COMPUTER GUYS INC

I received horrible service! My wife has her own business and had used them previously for business reasons. My office computer was badly on the fritz and I call The Computer Guys for assistance. They worked with my assistant for 2 ½ - 3 hours by phone and said it would be fixed. They next day, there were problems with a few programs. When we called them to inquire, they told us to wait it out. The service continued to decline as my initial problem eventually returned. I had another computer company come out which was able to fully solve the issue.   I paid a chunk of the bill once I received it, despite them being unable to remedy my issue. They’re now taking me to small claims court saying that I own them money for the time of the services rendered.     About a month after they tried to assist with my office computer, my wife called them back for her business. She again used their remove service for many hours and they were unable to resolve her issue. I’m frustrated that they feel I own them more money as they should really be lucky I paid them anything. I find their tech service to be incompetent.

I knew the company had recently gotten awards from the local chamber and a friend recommended them. I had met the owners, John Stone and Frank McDonough, previously. I knew that I needed more memory because my laptop was slow. I talked to someone and ordered Ram ahead of time. I brought it in and I spoke to James. He asked me questions and then took it away. I got it back the same day and the performance was night and day. He also gave me other suggestions on how to keep my laptop working faster. Like take off some extra software that starts at startup. I've been very happy with the service and it gave my laptop new life. So that I didn't have to buy a new one immediately.
