Tina the current owner purchased the business from the previous owner. The girls are wonderful and do a great job. I usually try to schedule with Mai, Cynthia or Tina. Very clean! Years back Tina's husband started working at the salon as the receptionist. He answers the phone, makes appointments and collects payments. He is difficult to understand and not very friendly or accommodating. Many times when I request an appointment with a specific girl he says they are "all booked". I usually call back, and if one of the girls answers, I generally can get an appointment with the person that I want. Also, they only accept cash and up until about a year ago they would always take my check. Last time I gave my daughter a check for a mani/pedi/waxing and the receptionist would not accept the check. He made her go to the bank and get cash. A mani gel/pedi for two and a waxing can be around 150.00 before tip. I generally don't carry cash. For a special event I'll make an appointment and make the effort to get cash at the bank. If on a whim I decide to get a manicure there are 3 other salons nearby that I can walk-in and either pay with a check or credit card. I can't remember the exact cost, but I think it was about 80.00 before tip for a gel mani/ pedi/ lip-brow wax. The girls and services get an A; The ease of making an appointment, ability to communicate and lack of friendliness by the receptionist a C.
