I wasn't happy with their service yet. There were still some pieces they missed. They didn't do complete work. We reached out to them but they never got back in touch with us. He kind of blew us off. The price was too much. They were punctual. They could have done better work. They could have replaced everything they said they were going to replace.

Peter (owner) was responsive and punctual. Quote was reasonable. He was helpful in picking out colors and setting up time and work.
Workers showed up without warning (which we kind of expected from other reviews). They kept leaving the gates of the back yard open and leaving rusty equipment there for days as well. Since we have dogs, those were problematic, and I kept having to move their stuff outside the gates.
Results came out okay, though in areas is kind of sloppy (some color transitions between trim and main house paint is messy; some parts were scraped better than others, though we had some issues with the underlying materials, so some of that is excusable).
Upon job completion, I noticed a lot of chipped paint scattered along the wall of the back yard. Concerned about lead, I requested a cleanup. They responded by power-washing the back, spreading the chips all over the back yard. That just made things worse. They also left their garbage in my recycling bin, which our town doesn't take kindly upon.
Overall an okay job, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend...

We had the pleasure of working with Peter from Protect Painters, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He came out very quickly to meet with us and discuss the project, he was the lowest estimate we received and was also the most thorough and detail oriented of all the estimates we received. Out of all the estimates, Peter spent the most time walking around the house offering tips and expert advice, listened to what we wanted, made great suggestions and pointed out several details which the other estimates failed to notice. Peter had a great eye for even the smallest details including the color of the door bell.
We received the Estimate back within 1 day. When we decided to go with Protect Painters, Peter came back for a final consultation to discuss the details of the project, the schedule and help us decide on paint colors, he came back two additional times to put paint samples on the house to help us make a decision. The project was completed within 3 days according to schedule, all of the painters were respectful of the property, were careful not to make a mess and always cleaned up after they were finished. We needed to have gutter work performed on the house at the same time and Protect Painters were very flexible to work around the gutter contractors and waited to paint the gutters until after they were finished. Peter visited the job site every day to observe the progress and make sure details were not overlooked, he also made great suggestions on the color we used for the front door and steps. The finished product came out beautiful, lots of great compliments from neighbors. Peter and Protect Painters were wonderful to work with, we would definitely use them again and would highly suggest them to anyone looking for exterior paint work.

Pete was a pleasure to work with from the first estimate appointment. He was very personable and professional throughout the entire job. His team came in and did an extensive prep job and then a few days later completed the actual painting. Pete was very responsive on getting some "touch up" work done after the team had finished and made sure we were 100% happy before even hinting at a payment be made. We were very happy with the outcome and have gotten many comments from the neighborhood on how nice the house looks. Thanks, Pete!!

This was a very positive experience. I called Protect Painters 1-800 number and received a prompt appointment with Peter Casapariello of the Natick franchise. I met with Peter to discuss the job, and he spent some time after I left looking at the house in detail to prepare a proposal. I received a very professional and detailed quote the day of the appointment. To my great surprise (delight) the estimate included replacing several deteriorated window sills with a pvc sill and reglazing several of the cellar windows prior to painting which is something I didn't expect from a painter.
The bid was close to other bids I received but included additional work (sills, glazing) not included in other proposals, and was one of the reasons I chose Protect. Also, Peter was very professional and knowledgeable about what was most appropriate (oil prime, latex finish) to obtain a good result. They also use Sherwin Williams paints which are highly rated.
The work started about 3 weeks after I paid a deposit, and took about 3 1/2 days. They did a fantastic job preparing/scraping the house prior to painting. The crew was professional, hard-working and did a great job cleaning up after each day. Due to the dryness of the house shingles, they actually put a 2nd primer coat on (at no additional cost) before the finish coat. They used spray guns to apply the paint on the siding, brushes for trim. The end result was great - it's almost hard to believe it's the same house.

Protect Painters is a franchise, and our job was done by the one owned by Peter Casparriello of Natick. We were very pleased with the work. Peter returned all our calls quickly and was on time for all his appointments with us. When making his estimate, he walked us around the house and explained in detail what he would do. The job started exactly when he said it would and Peter was on-site supervising the crew at least once or twice every day. The prep was especially well done and the crew did a good clean up job. Peters estimate was a little higher than the other two I got, but he also did some extra things like the painting the wrought-iron rail, hanging shutters, etc, which were not included in the other estimates. Our house looks great.
