Description of Work: I needed to have 6 dining set chairs reupholstered (seats and backs). I contacted several local upholstery companies to get estimates for the work. The companies would not come to my home to examine the chairs--they had me send them photos and the prices I was quoted to do the work ranged from $250-$400 per chair and that did not include the fabric! Fourteen years ago I used Phoebe to re-do a wicker kitchen set (and it still looks like new) and decided to see if she could do this job for me. She cam to my home within a few days and had her upholster join us (to determine how much material was needed and the work that needed to be done). In less then a week I had samples for the fabrics I liked mailed to me with the price per yard. The 6 chairs were picked up as scheduled and returned ahead of time!!! They were completely rebuilt (new cushions for the seats and backs) and they are better than new.
