The yard looks fantastic. The beds were very difficult to edge out due to growth and tree roots but it was all accomplished. The staff worked very hard and was very professional and clearly took pride in their work. The beds are the perfect depth and size. The mulch was put down by hand (I've had others use blowers). I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the quality of work.

McNeil must negotiate a very steep incline, while being careful to keep the plow away from the lawn.  I've never had any damage.

Shon has done an outstanding job for us for the past 4 years.  I have used several different landscapers over the past 15 years, but have stayed the longest with Shon and will continue to use Shon for the foreseeable future.  He and his team are very attentive, ensure complete satisfaction, and work very hard.  Shon is a great guy and takes the time to talk with you to understand your needs and ensure he is installing what you really want.  He also makes good suggestions.  We give him complete freedom to design our annuals each year and does an outstanding job.  He also takes our pots out of storage in the spring and puts them in storage in the fall.  He is meticulous in every detail and is very reasonably priced.  I can't imagine going a summer without Shon and his team working on my yard.

He ruined old growth arborvitaes. He pruned them incorrectly and ruined the material.

Shon responded promptly, provided an accurate and thorough estimate, and always kept me informed about scheduling. We had wanted to have this work done last spring but had to wait because of lots of rainy days. Shon originallly proposed a single dry well, but then provided a final quotation that include two smaller dry wells, because after thinking about the problem to be solved, he developed a better solution. I liked that he put thought into his proposal and was willing to improve his initial assessment. The changes did not substantially alter the ball park estimate he gave when he came for a site visit. All work was done efficiently and neatly. Shon is especially good at explaining what he is doing and why. I have contacted him for additional work, and have found him to be very responsive via e-mail.

I have been looking for help in our yard for years! Shon was recommended to us from a friend and I truly believe I have discovered a treasure! When Shon came to our home, I was embarrassed and overwhelmed by the situation. It didn't seem to bother him in the least. The project was completed in two stages. First, they worked all day clearing brush, weeds and saplings. It was extraordinary the amount of work that Shon and his crew did. That alone transformed the exterior of the house. Just beautiful! When the McNeil crew came the next visit, Shon and I had talked about planting perennials that attract birds, butterflies - etc., so they continued by designing areas of the garden to do just that. The wonderful thing about Shon is that he listens. He cares about what the customer needs and I didn't feel like a fool, because I knew nothing about horticulture. As it had rained a lot this year, Shon was also able to install-fix a drain that was causing some problems, let alone an eyesore. Anyway, I know we will continue to use Shon's company and I hope he doesn't leave US - because he is too good to be true!
