He would call us. He was an absolute joy. There was no charge to me. I believe the Realtors gave him three percent or something.

Calling John Shelton was the first great decision that I made in the entire home buying process! I was originally considering an agency that offers money back at the close. Before John Shelton I had met three other real estate agents who would walk through a house and just say "This looks nice." Then they would give the line "I could really see you in this house." John Shelton was not looking for the quick sale. He would walk into a house, get on his hands and knees, open up the cabinets, look at the wiring, plumbing, roof, and more. He shared his expertise through every step of the process, from the market, negotiations, contracts, and even home renovations. He had the answer to every question that I would throw at him. He was incredibly patient with us, and was willing to look at as many houses, as often as it took. When we finally found the perfect house (for us) John Shelton negotiated a price, concessions, and repairs that made a wonderful house a wonderful deal!
