DEBSAN DECORATING STORE

We met with the folks at Debsan on 11/23/13 in their show room. They were very nice and helpful. We had them out to the house a week later to measure for faux wood blinds. NOTHING fancy. We were charged of over $700 for the blinds and installation on 12/7/13. It's now 1/24/14 (almost 8 weeks since the measurement) and we have nothing. No blinds and, more importantly, NO UPDATES. Their communication is poor at best. We have had to call them for an update and when I do the way they handle the call is as if no one has ever called them for an order update before. We called about 2 weeks ago and were promised a call back with a better update. They have not called us with an update yet. The initial estimate was 4 to 6 weeks.
My recommendation is to bring your business elsewhere. You feel very confident in them during the sales process, but their execution after that is awful. I can understand delays with manufacturers etc. However, the lack of pro activity and then missing commitments such as a call back with an update is a clear sign of bad customer service.

Update: Installed finally came out to install the blinds. He was on time and the install went smoothly. However, the installer left the empty boxes and right in the middle of our walkway. Bit amateurish in my opinion.

They were prompt and very helpful. I liked the fact that they came when they said they would and the installer was excellent. Their price was very reasonable; it was just in the middle and I was very happy with their service.

The staff at Debsan was courteous, and helpful in helping us choose color, and texture in carpets for our new addition, and our existing spaces. We were impressed with the large selection, and the knowledge of the Debsan staff. The carpets, and the installers arrived on time. The installers were very friendly, and trustworthy. The carpets are beautiful, and the price was as quoted.
