I was satisfied with the job. This is the first time they did something for my computer which had to be paid for. In the past, they have helped me to with various queries. I have been satisfied with whatever they have said or done. I have not had any problems with them.

They tried and tried and tried, but could not get the new hard drive to boot. They spent many hours working on it for over a week. I did not think they should charge me the $99, but they worked so hard and for so long, and were so nice, I wound up paying it. In the end, I brought the computer to someone else, who got it done for only $80, did it in less than 48 hours, and had no problems. Data Doctors are nice and professional people. I saw people come with problems that the employees would take the time and patience to help out with. And sometimes, if it was quick advice, they would not charge. They try real hard, but they are not the smartest or most competent I am sorry to say. I would not go back to them, but would not mind letting others know its ok to try them. Just don't give them anything real hard. The hard drive conversion should have been done, and done quickly. If they really knew what they were doing, it should have been done. But my impression is that the guy was not an expert, and didn't fully understand how computers worked.
