About us
Chalker Heating & Fuel, LLC is a family owned and operated company that began in October 2009 with Mark Chalker's 10year old company, Canalside Heating & Cooling and his son Adam's 7year company, A.B.S. Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. When Terry Chalker, Mark's wife and Adam's mother, lost her job working with a fuel company in October 2009, they decided to join forces and start Chalker Heating & Fuel LLC. We are a full service discount fuel company. We do not use subcontractors. Adam has his Master Plumbers license #15227, Mark currently is an Apprentice Plumber who will have his Journeymans license sometime this summer. Both Mark & Adam have Oil Burner licenses and are certified to install & service Air Conditioning units. Adam has his gas fitters license. We are also a Valve Plus Installer for Nationalgrid. We do convert oil heating systems to gas, and electric heat to either gas or oil. We also replace & service gas & oil heating systems, hot water heaters and air conditioners. Large jobs like installs and plumbing remodels and winterizing are priced on a job to job basis, yes we do offer free estimates. We welcome all jobs large or small. Service for heating, plumbing and air conditioning jobs are $95per hr. during regular working hours and $130per hr for emergency nights and weekend calls. These prices are for our repeat customers and Angie's List Members. Non-customers are billed $105per hr during regular working hours, and $150per hr for emergency night & weekend calls. Terry is in the office with her dog Max Monday - Sat and always has the phone called forwarded to her on nights and weekends if you have any questions.
