I initially wrote a very negative review due to the lack of communication with this contractor. I felt that I had really failed in my ability to identify a problem contractor. The lack of returned calls frustrated both my wife and myself to no end.
It is amazing how one phone call can clear up a great deal of problems.
Feeling abandoned I had left messages and got no response. Today I got a call and was surprised to hear it was Jocko, the contractor. He was very apologetic and proceeded to explain that he had had a series of personal issues and death in the family that caused him to be out of town for an extended period of time.
He agreed that he should have made arrangements for someone to cover in his absence and return calls but he did not think of this during this time of grief.
He is now going to fulfill the contract completely and even providing more filters than originally quoted. We are now using the system and it appears that the quality of the system and installation far exceeds the frustrations that we felt from the lack of communication during his personal absence.
