I am very disappointed in this company. They installed a toilet into my father’s bathroom. Less than a year later it’s leaking so bad he can’t use it. It has damaged his floor and the ceiling below it. I have called EWS 4 times in the last month to have them come fix it. Silly me to think they would make time for my 89 year old father and fix a toilet they installed. They haven’t called back. I have spoken to the receptionist 3 separate times and received a very dismissive response and a statement that they would call back when a plumber is available. A month later and I am still waiting. Do not use this company. They don’t stand by their work. Very disappointed!

They were good. They were responsible and on time. They come and my sense is that they are honest. My hope is that I can save my penny and next time I had some trouble may be I can upgrade to a newer more energy efficient system. I would use them in the future.

Have had issues with it every year, a/c freezing up. First 2 years called them for service, they replace a valve in the inside unit to fix it but still having issues. Called them earlier this year and was told they work on these units. This year spend $2800 to fix the outside unit, compressor gone, fortunately partially covered by warranty, wrong size fuse in unit. Valve that was worked on in the inside unit was brazed in and installed upside down. Could not replace just the valve as it is part of the coil unit so had to replace the coil also. Additionally lines from outside unit to inside unit were not replace at installation so had to do that also.

They have a pretty wide-ranging service area. The girl who schedules things is very cordial, sharp, and manages to find a way to get them here when they are servicing others in my area. So, that works out well. The people who put the new furnace in three years ago were terrifically sharp and knew how to get my gas line working when another company told me that it wouldn't work. They are "yes" people and find a way. The price is a tiny bit high, it's worth it. Their quality of work is great.

Very bad experience with contractor. Did not listen to what we wanted and we had to keep stopping them, as they put in things we did not want, and did not put in what we did. Heating and zones were not done right or as we wanted. Piping to water was undersized for house, and does not give proper water pressure. Plumbed water wrong. Used inferior materials, and cut corners whenever they could. Tried to charge high prices for fixtures. Did not show up when they were supposed to and walked off job. Suspected employees of being under the influence. We filed a lawsuit against them and they settled out of court in our favor. Would never recommend and would never use again and I tell everyone I know how bad they were.

"First about the 2 cents comment - We have been in business for two generations, 35 years and have worked for thousands of great customers, all of whom seem to be very pleased with our installations. We have had our installations publised by picture and text in trade magazines as well. We employ approximately 25 technicians at any one time. This is the only negative response we have ever seen. In response to her complaint, we never worked directly for the members. We were contracted through a General Contractor to perform the plumbing and heating installations in a new home. Our work was scheduled through the GC and performed in a timely manner. The installation was inspected by Inspectors and Approved. Our work was never completed as the members sued the General Contractor part way through the job. She did not bring any litigation against our company. There was never a judgement against our company. The General Contractor settled with the members and thusly we as a subcontractor agreed to the settlement terms. The members were not satisfied with the next set of subcontrators hired by them to finish the house either. With some research it has become evident that this woman is an habitual complainer. Never satisfied. As research shows she has tried to bring lawsuits against almost every service provider she has ever contracted. We suspect her of a mental deficiency. She is a classic example of why contractors have to be defensive and work twice as hard. We tried to satisfy her and her unrealistic demands. Again we are a great company with a great track record (exception: 1). and are looking forward to being a third generation business."
